A round up of the latest accommodation reviews from visitors to Lanzarote Breaks.

“We stayed in this gorgeous villa in May and had a fantastic time!!
We go to Lanzarote quite often to visit my parents and we have stayed in many villas in Macher and Tias. Casa Sahana is definitely the best villa we have stayed in so far. It was spotless and had everything you could want.
The pool was great, nice and warm and big enough to actually swim in. The other thing we liked is that the villa is on a large corner plot and it is not crowded in by other villas.
We don’t hire a car so it was really nice to be able to be close enough to walk to all the restaurants. We liked the tapas bars especially Cafe Central and the bakers – croissants to die for!”

“2 days back in UK freezing temps and we are already contemplating a return to the warmth, peace and tranquility of Villa Madera. The owners are as welcoming as the property and are happy to provide all the information required for an easy laid back vacation. We can thoroughly recommend this Spanish style "home from home" only a short drive from all major beaches, beauty spots and attractions yet quietly situated and complimented with amazing views.
Well done Lawrence and Cherrill.
"We will be back"”
Owner's response: Not the best of Lanzarote weather for your holiday but we did try to make up for it with advice and information about "things to do....places to go" when beaches unfriendly. Promise for your next visit "things will be better"weatherwise. Your promise to return NOT an idle "threat" either ? got you BOOKED for a return this summer ......with friends. Thanks for your company ....delightful Lawrence&Cherrill x

“The villa is a great place to stay if you are in a large group. This property is geared towards either adults, or a mix of children and adults.
The villa itself is very quiet and away from all the noise of the neighbors.
Nick West is a very easy person to deal with. He was very helpful when we needed anything! I would highly recommend staying here if you like having many activities to do while you are staying in the villa, yet close enough to get to different places on the island.”

“Great apartment, all you want and more. love the privacy and the all day sunshine on the terrace. Good local restaurants, Have an afternoon or two at the pool bar for good banter with tank and Dominic. Stroll along the promanade, stopping at the el toledo, for great views. Up to the town for plenty more bars and restaurants. Also the crown pub on the complex has great pub grub (Dont miss friday afternoon with the irish band). A bus ride to Arrecife is 1.20 for a day out. Will be back very shortly. Cant wait to stay again.”
Owner's response: Thank you very much Norma & Frank for your lovely review, we appreciate your comments and we look forward to welcoming you back in April. Kindest regards Gill

“We have just returned from a 3 week stay at this property and would highly recomend a visit. The property is well appointed, near the beach, restaurants and bars still still quiet and residential. It is also equipped to the highest standard & has recently been completely refurbished. It is maintained by a very professional and friendly management team, where "nothing is too much trouble". The property is very clean and the heated pool area secluded, quiet and spacious.
We have already booked for our next break.”

“You will find that this is the second review under this name (Please read) that we have left on Villa Madera, we will be visiting next year so that says it all. A comfortable happy place to stay with considerate and helpful host and Lottie (the dog) + cats. It is peaceful and quiet so that relaxation and a general unwinding it the order of the day. You will enjoy.”
Owner's response: TWO x 5* ratings AND a booking for 2013 confirmed in Jan 2012..???? It doesn't get better than this and CHERRILL (!) is particularly grateful. Appreciation of all her hard work to keep VM "front and centre" for ALL visitors is most gratifying. Thank you both from "The Man - age - ment" team

“Well like all the other reviews about this apartment I can absolutely agree that it is first class ! From the moment I made the enquiry with Joan everything was hassle free. it was like corresponding with someone you had known for years ! The apartment is modern, clean, spacious and the views from the balcony are stunning. The added bonus for us was that it was a double balcony with two sun loungers and the sun shone on them the whole day. Whenever you got too warm, you could just nip back into your living room and kitchen and get a cool drink out of the fridge. We could also listen to our own radio station from home via the excellent radio and tv satellite system. Marios next door is an excellent restaurant and 10 minutes walk down into the Old town will give you many more choices. The highlight of my holiday (except the apartment of course ! ) was learning to dive. I would highly recommend The Dive Centre (Island Watersports) located in the harbour. Georg is a highly experienced professional and patient teacher.
Finally I have no hesistation in recommending this fabulous apartment. You only have to check the availability calendar to see how popular it is ! Thanks Joan and Stan for creating a home from home.”
Unlike many review sites we actually check reviewers have been genuine guests. Our system has special checks that ensure comments are written by real human beings and are double-checked with the accommodation provider before publication.
To maintain honesty the contents of every review are never revealed to villa owners or the wider public until all checks are complete.
