Accommodation description
This superb, elegantly furnished villa is set in a quiet area on the edge of the exclusive Costa Teguise golf course and within walking distance of the aqua park. The centre of the resort of Costa Teguise is only a ten minute walk away, offering an extensive choice of beautiful golden beaches, excellent shops, bars and restaurants.
This beautiful single storey villa is built in a traditional Spanish style and has a feeling of space and light throughout. It has been lovingly renovated to a very high standard using warm Mediterranean colours. An entrance hall leads into the large, stylishly decorated living room with a dining area. Light pours into the room via the feature Canarian skylights and the large patio doors that lead out to the swimming pool and garden. The fully fitted, separate, modern kitchen has a breakfast table, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the garden and access to the exterior dining area. Villa Leopoldo has five bedrooms each with wooden shutters on the windows and portable fans. Four of the bedrooms are ensuite.
Patio doors from both the living room and the kitchen lead out to the extensive sun bathing terrace, with ample sun beds, which is perfect for soaking up the warm Lanzarote sun. The 7 x 4 metre electrically heated swimming pool is entered by roman steps and has a poolside shower. A superb feature of this unique villa is the Mediterranean style covered dining area with its rustic warm colours. The villa has well maintained gardens and views of the mature palm trees that surround the nearby golf course. Romantic lighting in the evening provides a truly idyllic holiday atmosphere in this delightful, peaceful setting.
Villa Leopoldo is only 1.4km from the 18 hole Costa Teguise Golf Course, with its charming Club House restaurant which is open all day for snacks and meals. The aqua park is a fifteen minute walk from the villa, with a wide range of attractions to suit all ages. There are four beaches in Costa Teguise, all of which have beautiful golden sand. Playa de los Charcos, a pretty, protected beach with a gentle slope into the sea is only a five minute drive from the villa. A promenade links Playa los Charcos to the neighbouring beach of Playa las Cucharas and the bars, shops and restaurants surrounding it. Las Cucharas beach is also very well known for its excellent windsurfing facilities. The excellent Beatriz Hotel and its world class Thalasso Wellness Spa can be enjoyed by guests staying in nearby villas. The resort is only a fifteen minute transfer from the airport and twenty five minutes from Puerto Del Carmen. The capital city of Arrecife, with its wide variety of shops and restaurants is a ten minute drive away.
A basic welcome pack is included complete with a bottle of Lanzarote wine, water, milk, tea and coffee.

About Costa Teguise, Lanzarote
Costa Teguise is one of the main tourist resorts on the island, with big luxury hotels and apartments where architecture and landscape have been harmoniously integrated. As well as the main beach of Las Cucharas there are many other waterfront areas to choose from.
If sport is your thing then Costa Teguise is well worth a visit. With several diving centres, a golf course and bicycle hire shops all at arms length you can't go far wrong. For families, Ocean Water Park is based just 2km inland from Costa Teguise which boasts water slides, flumes and heated swimming pools. Open daily from 10am – 6pm.
There are many restaurants in Costa Teguise where the locals welcome those with children, don't be surprised if they are given sweets at the end of a meal!

“Had a wonderful stay at the villa. Plenty of room for our party of 8. Very clean and well equipped. Used bbq alot and maybe better utensils for this would have been good. Housekeeper very pleasant and helpful especially taking our rubbish away. Furnished to a high standard throughout. Would certainly think about returning.”

“Unfortunately our flight time was changed so we arrived at the property in darkness having had taxi from Arecife. The villa is lovely, clean and we were impressed with the property.
Unfortunately the welcome pack advertised was not present which was a disappointment, especially having a two yr old in our party. However the nearest restaurant grill La Masia was just a ten minute walk down the road to Costa Tequise . Oli the front of house and the chef made our evening, catering for the ten of us (including toddler and 12 yr old) with good food and wine. They have a large outdoor play area at the back of the restaurant which kept the children entertained whilst food was prepared The restaurant had the best iced beer of the holiday and we had the greatest first night.
Costa Tequise centre is 20-25 minutes walk so as suggested a car is recommended. The town is as described.
The villa is as described and highly recommended. What would be helpful in the information file would be a detailed plan of where things were stored plus where the keys were kept to access the washing machine /laundry room.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and holiday and would have no qualms about returning to the same property.”

I was born and bred in Yorkshire. I am currently working in London and whenever I can get away from work, I head for the sun kissed shores of Lanzarote!
What we love about our property
Lanzarote is one of the most magical islands in the world. The simple life of sun, swimming in the sea and eating freshly caught fish does wonders for the spirits. The villa is situated in a wonderful and tranquil part of the island. Costa Teguise has some excellent restaurants, a fantastic nightlife and a great golf course, though many people are very happy relaxing by the pool and enjoying the BBQ.
