Accommodation description
Beautiful 2 bedroom (one en-suite), 2 bathroom very spacious house which sleeps 4 guests. La Finca is an old country house nestling in a small village called Nazaret, located in the centre of Lanzarote. Our holiday home has panoramic views of volcanoes and valleys that stretch down to the sea and is ideally positioned for exploring the island. The Finca has an internal courtyard, private pool and BBQ area. Ideal for people wanting peace and quiet for walking, bird watching or visiting lovely beaches.
Bedroom1 is a spacious room with double bed and large en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is a large room with 2 single beds. En-suite bathroom off bedroom 1, with bath/shower, toilet and his and her sinks. Courtyard shower room with an amazing walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin.
The farmhouse kitchen has rustic stone walls and timber ceilings. Farmhouse table & chairs overlooking the BBQ and swimming pool area. Full electric oven and gas hob,microwave, granite worktop. A Fully equipped home kitchen. A fridge, freezer, washing machine, ironing board and iron are in the utility room.
Our comfortable inside sitting room has television, DVD player with lots of films to watch. Sky TV is installed with limited channels. We also have Spanish television where many stations are played in English. There is a cupboard full of games and books.
An outside/inside sitting room with pull down awning. Plastic table and chairs and built in BBQ area overlooking pool, views down to sea, and over the mountains. Here you can sit and enjoy the wonderful sun-rises and sun-sets.
The finca will be found beautifully cleaned. Bed linen and towels, together with large towels for the swimming pool are included.
La Finca is not suitable for young children.
Welcome basket includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water, bread, 2 large bottles of beer and a bottle of wine.

“What a truly delightful Finca you have and we felt very lucky to spend such a relaxing week there. Everything was perfect and we had all we could possibly need. It was wonderful having our own pool. Although our stay was short, we managed to see most of the island and found the hugely varied scenery quite extraordinary.
It was nice to meet James and maybe one day we will visit you in Rye !
Incidentally the car hire firm we used was Auto Reisen and we would recommend them to other visitors.

“The villa was even better than the website photos convey, and we had a lovely holiday.
We did a few of the usual things - Fire Mountain, Cesar Manrique's house, Mirador Del Rio, (which were all great), but also went to the Fort about Tequise, took the ferry over to Los Graciousos(?), which was very nice but very hot! We made good use of the hire car and knew the roads up and around the north of the Island very well by the end of the week. We had an early evening meal at the restaurant you recommended in Arrieta - lovely meal but the sun had gone from the balcony by 5pm - which made it a little cool - so if future visitors want a sunny experience, maybe they should consider visiting earlier (and avoid Sunday's - we revisited on Monday when there was no queue!).
If any future visitors are thinking of going over to El Golfo - can recommend a nice restaurent there (sorry can't remember actual name but began with A - but it's the one with the Blue painted balcony and outside patio across the road), as it was getting darker, we opted to take a table inside and upstairs on the open blue balcony - and had a very pleasant paella there.
Little Tip - if future quests want to avoid the crowds at the Fire Mountain and Cesar M's House - visit late in the day. Practically had the place to ourselves i.e no coaches!!
Can I take this opportunity to thank you for allowing us to rent La Finca at very short notice and for all your help beforehand and James's help and advice on arrival.
Can recommend La Finca to those who want a villa in a quiet area, away from the tourist traps.
