Accommodation description
Welcome to this splendid 6 bed roomed, 5 bath roomed property. It is located only a leisurely 10 minute walk to the fabulous beach of Playa Flamingo with its bars and restaurants. As well as sea views from middle and upper terraces, on a clear day you can also see Fuerteventura.
Villa Hydra is ideal for larger groups, of up to 12 adults; plus 2 smaller children can also be accommodated (please ask for details). As you will see the villa has a starting price for 6 people but smaller groups are also very welcome, again contact us with your requirements and we will endeavour to try and find a solution.
The bar and games room, including air hockey, a pool table, and table football is a real winner for all ages. On the same floor as the games room there is one double bed room with a king sized bed which is en-suite and two further twin rooms which are also en-suite.
The upper floor has 3 more bed rooms two of which have 2 king sized double beds, one being en-suite and further twin room, the double and the twin share the 5th bath room.
There is access to the roof terrace from a light airy informal lounge area, which offers total privacy; fantastic views, and is ideal for sun worshippers.
Coming back to main floor you have a lounge and dining area located next to the kitchen. From the lounge you exit onto the shaded sun terrace which has two tables and seating out doors for 12 people. On the terrace there is also a sink and BBQ ideal for alfresco dinning.
On the lower terrace (poolside) you have 8 sun beds and two additional parasols. If extra sun beds are required please ask. The pool is heated all year by solar power and for the cooler months November to March it has the additional back up facility of an electric heat pump. The pool has walk in steps at the Roman end. There is ample parking for a least 4 cars.

Rates shown are for 6 persons, please add £100.00 per person per week extra up to a maximum of 12 people.
The pool is solar heated all year, but if you would like the guarantee of a min 27/28c during your stay we can offer an electric back up system for an extra £90.00 a week.
As a condition of booking we will require a copy of your holiday insurance. This can be faxed or emailed. Bookings are normally from Thursday 3.00 pm to Thursday 10.00 am. Other transit days will be considered based on availability, please ask. A deposit of 15% per week (non-refundable) is payable on confirmation of booking. The balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Please note children under 2 are our guests, so there is no charge. For less than 4 persons please contact us for a special weekly rate.
Clean linen and towels are provided each week. beach towels are not provided. Please note for 10 day holidays, extra towels will be provided at the beginning of your holiday, but no mid term clean or linen change will be provided, unless specifically requested and paid for seperately, in which case please let us know how we can best assist you.
Hire chairs, cots and child seats are available for hire at 25€, per item. Car hire is available please ask for details.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
