Accommodation description
The casas are situated near Macher, in the centre of the island, and are only moments from Puerto del Carmen.
The casas have been recently restored and refurbished to the highest standards. They offer luxurious and spacious modern accommodation in a truly unique and rural setting. With views of both the sea and the dramatic volcanic landscape that Lanzarote is famous for, the casas provide an authentic Canarian experience with the benefits of comfortable stylish interiors and modern amenities.
Casa Albeniz is a wonderful traditional Canarian house which has been lovingly restored and refurbished. It contains two ensuite bedrooms which are separated by a large open plan sitting/dining and kitchen area.
The huge arched windows in the open plan area create a beautifully light and airy living space. The living space also provides access to the garden terrace and swimming pool area via the ornate French doors. The terrace, complete with outside dining, is ideal for enjoying a Mediterranean meal or simply appreciating the views of the sea.
The living space is an eclectic mix of modern influences and rustic chic. The modern kitchen has everything you need for entertaining, while hidden away in an antique Spanish cupboard is the modern world of TV, DVD, hi-fi and wi-fi. With two large comfortable sofas, tasteful modern decor, and an abundance of space, the property provides all the key ingredients one requires for a perfect holiday.
The largest of the two bedrooms also contains French doors which similarly open out onto the terrace and swimming pool area. This room contains an enormous wrought iron bed with pretty side tables and lights, and a sofa well-suited for relaxing and reading. With a spacious bathroom adjoining, it provides the perfect combination of spaciouseness and privacy.
The other bedroom has two large arched windows, while one enjoys a view of the garden and surrounding hills, the other overlooks the peaceful inner courtyard with its' luscious green palm. This bedroom is painted a cool blue with long white curtains and provides the ideal refuge from the sun. Adjoining the room is another light and airy bathroom with walk in shower, bidet and WC.
Casa De Falla has a unique character and charm. It's very light and airy with many windows on both sides of the large and central open plan sitting/dining room. While one side of the room enjoys views of the garden and surrounding hills, the other side enjoys views of the inner courtyard with its' palm tree.
Luxurious sofa and chairs, glass tables and Spanish antiques combine with the peaceful rural setting to create a relaxing, soothing and comfortable atmosphere. While TV, DVD, hifi and wifi bring all the modern necessities of life.
The modern gleaming white kitchen with marble work tops, is set against a backdrop of soft cream walls, which adds to the simplistic and natural style. At either ends of the large open plan space are the bedrooms with their en-suite bathrooms.
The larger of the two double bedrooms is painted a beautiful green with matching blinds and silk bedspread, just inviting you to rest and unwind. This bedroom has a stylish modern red and white bathroom with large walk in shower, WC, and basin.
Situated at the other end of the house is another good sized double bedroom with a striking padded high headboard, attractive bedside tables, mirrors and lamps. Accompanying this bedroom is a large bathroom with equivalent facilities, whose french windows enjoy the green views of the garden.

About Macher, Lanzarote
Mácher is a 15-minute drive from the airport. It offers a quiet and peaceful holiday in a private situation. Mácher offers a number of restaurants and a supermarket and it has wonderful sea views. Just off the main Arrecife-Yaiza road, the village is centrally situated.

About us
I was born and bred in Yorkshire. I am currently working in London and whenever I can get away from work, I head for the sun kissed shores of Lanzarote!
What we love about our property
Lanzarote is one of the most magical islands in the world. The simple life of sun, swimming in the sea and eating freshly caught fish does wonders for the spirits. The villa is situated in a wonderful and tranquil part of the island. Costa Teguise has some excellent restaurants, a fantastic nightlife and a great golf course, though many people are very happy relaxing by the pool and enjoying the BBQ.
