About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.

For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

Car not essential as most restaurants, bars shops & beaches are close by. A short walking distance to the Puerto del Carmen Biosfera Complex with shops, bars and restaurants. Near the Old Harbour and the main Avenida. There is a launderette nearby the complex.
5 mins drive or bus ride to the New Tias Golf Course.

About us
Alan & Brynette in Lanzarote. Together for over 30 years. Married in 2000. We have loved Lanzarote for many years. Brynette a commercial artist - www.brynette.com - and Alan an engineer. We discovered the beauty of Lanzarote way back in 1981.
We continue to welcome our guests to enjoy Villa Casa Albryna.

In 1984, I raised a second mortgage on my UK home, to enable my parents' dream, to buy a holiday apartment, on a small complex in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote. From that year on, Alan and I worked very hard in London UK, regularly sending money to my retired parents living in Lanzarote. Alan often visited between his work commitments, always working holidays! Helping to enhance the family rural home plus our apartments in Los Fragosos Puerto del Carmen.
However, my love has always been with the rural, country areas of Lanzarote.
Since moving to Lanzarote in 2000, Alan has continued to work relentlessly to improve our Lanzarote Rural Family Home. Adding special extras for all our guests, including solar heating for the pool, solar hot water, internet and many more special extras!

This Lanzarote Villa has seen many changes through the years. The beauty & character stands here with memories and enjoyment of our past guests, returning guests, and our future guests.

This is not a new build box. This unique home has a heart, a history and a special character. We welcome you to enjoy the warmth.
Casa Albryna is set within the extensive garden grounds of the main property.

What we love about our property
We love Villa Casa Albryna. A spacious Lanzarote Rural Retreat.
A special family home with lots of space
A place for a couple to relax - or a family with children, to enjoy.
Sunny days, blue skies, beautiful golden sunsets, clear night skies with sparkling stars & bold night flowering cactus. A crow of our neighbour's cockerel, wild birds twittering for their morning & evening feed.
Swimming in the heated pool at night. Turn off all the lights and bathe under the stars!
The first time I ever saw a shooting star was here!
There are gardens to play in. Children camping safely within the garden grounds. Feeding cheese to the Lizards. Taking a special Lanzarote walk on the volcan, just outside our gates. catching glimpses of wildlife, kestrels, tabobos the hoopoe bird, rabbits, partridge, lizards and robins ! ( not a tourist in site ! ).

The Hunting Season, being lucky enough to watch the skittish bunnies, anticipating and often out whitting the amazing podencos, hunting dogs on the volcan. The bunnies often hide in our garden!
