Accommodation description
This spaciously built villa, ideal for a family of six but can comfortably sleep up to seven persons, has been beautifully decorated with memorabilia from the Channel Island of Jersey. The indoor and outdoor furniture, mostly teak was specially selected for this fine holiday home.
On your arrival you will receive a welcome pack, some water, coffee, tea , milk and something stronger, to get you into the right holiday mood.
The accommodation consists of two twin bedrooms and a double basin bathroom, with a further master bedroom and an en-suite bathroom. The large lounge with a dining area offers Books, CD's, DVD's for your entertainment and satellite TV (limited Eng. programs) with DVD,CD, video player and radio. You can also connect to the Internet (modem flat rate) here for a small weekly charge of 20,00 Pounds, but please pre-order this facility. The lounge overlooks the superb south-facing sun terrace with its heated roman style pool.
A size-able well equipped kitchen with dining table offers a full fan-oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, and a large fridge freezer. For your convenience there are too various electrical kitchen utensils, apart from the usual toaster and kettle. You have ample fine china and glasses for at least 10 persons.There is also, a laundry room with a washing machine, iron, and ironing board.
Outside the property you will find a delightful front garden with sub tropical plants and the large south facing terrace and a separate traditional barbecue area. Large comfortable sun loungers surround a solar heated roman style pool. During the cooler winter months the pool can have additional electric heating at an extra charge of £80 per week. A garden wall, which encloses the entire property adds to your privacy.
Although Puerto Del Carmen is within walking distance, a car might be an advantage, but not essential. If you have not been to the island before, we would recommend you, to hire a car to visit the most interesting natural beauty spots of Lanzarote, most of which have been enhanced or designed by the famous artist Cesar Manrique.
I am able to offer in the same road opposite Villa Jersey one more holiday villa with private pool of similar quality and size, should you wish to accommodate more than seven persons or require more space for your family or friends.
You receive twice weekly a pool service and once a week a maid service at villa Jersey and a mid-week towel change, we are also please to offer beach towels. A daily maid service can be arranged at an extra charge, there is also a high chair or baby cot available on request at a small charge.

Christmas and New Year weeks start from £775. Prices are for two adults. A charge of £80 is made for any additional adult person and £50 for children up to twelve years of age. The villa can comfortably accommodate seven adults and a child in total.
The pool is solar heated throughout the year, but can have additional electric heating for a weekly charge of £80,00 Pounds.
A reservation can only be guaranteed after a deposit of 30% of the weekly rental has been received, and the final payment should reach our Bank account not later then 5 weeks before your arrival in Lanzarote. One of the conditions of reserving this villa is that you take out an adequate travel insurance.
About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote
About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.
For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

Owner's Tips...
You are with in 15 to 20 minutes walking distance of the main beach and Old Town and Harbour with its interesting restaurants and bars. A newly built golf course is now available, and villa Jersey is within 10 minutes walk to the new Club house. I can lend at the villa Ladies and Gentlemen golf clubs at no charge on request.

This villa has everything you could ask for, my grandchildren loved the pool which was at a lovely temperature at all times. The kitchen, living room and bedrooms have to be seen as the photo's cannot do them full justice. The loungers at the pool side are of the highest quality as is the rest of the decor at the Villa.
The location is ideal as it is far enough from the hustle and bustle and close enough to the bars, restuarents and beach. The taxi service is cheap and very prompt, in fact the cabs are there within a minute of calling.”

“This is our second visit to Villa Jersey and we have enjoyed ourselves very much. Our party consists of seniors, parents and children, it suits us to relax and have a carefree time. We travel all over the island & enjoy the food and friendly people. It is always a pleasure to return each day to the villa and chill by the pool. It is great to have a large patio area. It is nice for us to feel the sun in early or late season, having had very mixed and rather cold weather in England. We look forward to return in the near future.”

“Have identified a gap in the Lanzarote market for someone to make a map which gets you to places accurately. None of our maps, old or new helped us to navigate ourselves around the island.
Apart from that a great week, sunshine best from 4.30pm - 6.30pm each day. We've eaten well, relaxed and have tans. A friendly island and a good value villa, thank you.”

About us
Having lived and worked in England in the hotel industry for over 35 years and travelled numerous continents and countries, my real love for the island of Lanzarote never faded. I retired early in life and settled in La Asomada where I now live very happy and contend with my two best friends Diva and Heiko my Dalmatian pets. I own two properties, Casita Canaria in La Asomada and Villa Jersey in the main resort of Puerto del Carmen close to all its tourist attractions, beach and the Old Harbour. An ideal property for the 'beach lover'. The other property Casita Canaria is situated in a more rural area but still very close to all the interesting lively sites of Lanzarote and more suited for the lover of a quiet and peaceful holiday. What we love about our property
I bought Villa Jersey off plan in one of Puerto del Carmen's better residential areas, to create a comfortable holiday home for friends and visitors. It is situated in a very quiet location and still close to all amenities, which makes it the perfect holiday retreat. One does not need to hire a car and there is certainly no traffic noise, although you can reach the airport within 15 minutes. The property offers privacy with a superb south facing terrace and its heated roman style pool. It is wall surrounded and stands in 500m2 of ground.
My guests are telling me that when staying at Villa Jersey they can totally unwind and always enjoy my 'starter pack' on arrival. After which they like to stock up on groceries for the week in order to enjoy a lazy time by the pool, or to get ready for a fantastic family barbecue. The kitchen has all sorts of modern utensils and is well stocked with good china and glass sufficient for at least 10 persons. The swimming pool is solar heated but can have additional electric heating in the winter month if needed. As one visitor mentioned in the guest book 'all in all a fine home from home'. The beaches, shops, restaurants, bars and discos of Puerto del Carmen are only a few minutes walk away.
Casita Canaria and Studio, is well furnished, has two terraces, one upper and the lower pool terrace, which can be locked so small children can not reach the salt water pool. The views over the countryside right to the sea are a delight and at night over a glass or two of local wine you can enjoy the same view under a starry sky by looking at the twinkling lights of Fuerteventura you can dream away your worries. La Asomada enjoys of course the same delightful sunshine as the whole island, but in the summer month it does not get as stifling hot as in Playa Blanca or Puerto del Carmen, and it is much more comfortable to sleep at night without air-conditioning. By the way, the property has mosquito nets on all bedroom windows with window shutters.
