About the property

This unique coastal property has two main bedrooms plus a third bedroom in a separate 'annex' - making it ideal for families and adult groups alike.

The villa is well equipped, comfortably furnished and well suited for a relaxing holiday by the sea. Set in one of the most popular and highly sought after locations in Lanzarote, it offers access to a stunning beach, restaurants and shops all within a few minutes walk.

The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes with storage shelves and a safe while still more storage can be found in a walkthrough area. The second bedroom includes twin beds and fitted wardrobes.

The ensuite annex bedroom, located downstairs from the patio area, has a single bed that converts ingeniously to a double when required. The perfect room to accommodate another couple, granny or noisy teens!

When it's time to relax, the comfortable lounge area enjoys picturesque views through the large window and comes equipped with a colour television and video - perfect for the kids. The kitchen comes fully equipped with full oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and cooking utensils. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer.

When you're not at the beach by day or enjoying lively evenings in nearby Puerto del Carmen, the large private patio area offers sunbeds for basking, a table and chairs for alfresco dining and breathtaking sea views.

Although a car is not required, there is parking for one vehicle at the front of the property. Taxis are also available at a rank just a 3 minute walk away - putting the whole island within easy reach.

About Matagorda, Lanzarote

Located within a 5-minute drive of Arrecife airport, Matagorda is considered the tasteful extension to Puerto del Carmen and offers the best of all worlds: It's surroundings give you a quieter holiday, with the more lively resort of Puerto del Carmen only a short drive away when required.

The resort area of Matagorda is a mile or so along the coastal road from Puerto del Carmen and is dominated by the sandy beach bearing the same name. There is a good selection of shops and restaurants to choose from, the commercial centre has plenty of places to eat, offering everything from pizza to paella.

Matagorda rentals are available with a good selection of villas and apartments to choose from.

Owner's Tips...

The only golf course on the island is a twenty minute drive away at Costa Teguise. There are also two tennis courts available for hire at the Costa Sal aparthotel complex which is a 3 minute walk from the property.

Matagorda Shopping Centre (5 mins walk) has plenty of restaurants. Our favourites are Casa Kiki for breakfast/lunch and Restaurant Fung Gui (Chinese)for dinner.
The recent arrival of the restaurant/bar Kinsale which is situated at the back of the Jameos Playa hotel in Los Pocillos a 5 min walk from the shopping centre along the promenade is extremely timely. Great food and whats more real fresh cream with desserts and those must have Irish Coffees. No credit cards are taken.

Another wecome addition to the reataurant scene is Pulcinella an Italian that is quite simply superb whether you are looking for pizza, pasta or steak...its owner/chef is Italian. It is the first premises that you meet on the Los Pocillos stretch walking along the promenade.
If it is your body that ails you we cannot recommend highly enough Wanda in the Cleopatra hair and beauty salon located upstairs in the Matagorda shopping Centre. If it is a relaxing treatment that you require or a muscle is giving you trouble or anything else i defy you to find a better trained massage/holistic therapist anywhere.
