About the property

Villa del Mar is located on the sea front of Puerto Calero (10 mins from Puerto del Carmen). Within walking distance of the prestigious Yatch/Boat Marina (private walkway to fantastic shops & restaurants & bars of Puerto Calero. One of the most exclusive areas of Lanzarote, Puerto Calero is close to Puerto del Carmen and an ideal holiday destination for a relaxing time in peaceful surroundings. This sought after area is new and the marina offers a choice of submarine & catamaran trips with brilliant fishing off the rocks. Close to all amenities but very secluded with breathtaking views of Fuertventura.

The interior of the villa has been furnished to an excellent standard with tasteful decor and spacious surroundings. The villa has a large private terrace and heated pool. The villa is over 3 floors:-

On entering the villa there is a open staircase to the upstairs master bedroom with double bed and en-suite, the patio doors open to a veranda with chairs & table to relax and enjoy the sunset. The master bedroom also has comfy chairs & coffee table. Both bedrooms have wooden floors. The en-suite has bath & shower, Wc, bidet and marble sink area.

The 2nd bedroom (upstairs) has twin beds, a seperate bathroom with walk-in shower, bidet, wc and marble sink, this bathroom is on the upper level. Airconditioning in all both bedrooms, large double wardrobes in all bedrooms.

There is a seperate fully fitted kitchen with everything you could wish for. This new modern kitchen has all the mod cons inc dishwasher, 4 ring halagon hob, extractor fan, the washing machine is situated outside area next to kitchen.

The spacious living area has a relaxing feel with comfy 3 peice suite, coffee table & side dresser, tv & tv cabinet with DVD player (only few free sky channels) also Stereo system. Airconditioning in living area & dining area. The dining area has table & 6 chairs. From the living area the patio doors open up to the terrace & pool area (with ample furniture for outside dining) there are sunbeds an a outside shower.

The remaining double bedroom has twin beds with en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, w.c, bidet and wash basin, this is situated downstairs, with aircon and large double wardrobes.

This villa is ideal for families & children, we supply beach towels (helps with you luggage allowance) and everything for toddlers & babies inc toys, cot, highchair, baby monitor etc all free of charge.

About Puerto Calero, Lanzarote

The marina of Puerto Calero was opened in 1990 and was the brainchild of José Calero. It now has no lack of yachts and boats and it's become one of the nicest places on the island with many new boutiques and restaurants to enjoy. The marina is also the starting point for a range of activities including submarine safaris, shark fishing and cruises.

If you enjoy tapas, the restaurant Taberna del Puerto comes highly recommended. Their Canarian potatoes, garlic mushrooms and stuffed peppers are well complimented with the local mojo sauce.

Owner's Tips...

The villa is situated mins walk away from the fantastic yatch marina with (famous McSorleys Irish Bar) and a wide choice of restaurants, including Italian, chinese & local fish restaurants with freshly caught fish of the day. The submarine trip is a favourite with families & children. There are many designer shops and supermarket close by. Hairdressers & duty free shop. The bus stop is 10 min walk with regular bus going to Puerto del Carmen & Playa Blanca.
