This property boasts three double bedrooms, one of which is ensuite and comes complete with a sunken circular mosaic bath. There are also a further two shower rooms and a twin-bedded room.
The main feature of the lounge is the imposing walk-in inglenook fireplace.
The extensive living area is furnished with 3 cream sofas for your relaxation,large dining table seating 8 people comfortably suitable for large family dinner parties. There are plenty of home entertainments including satellite TV, video and CD player.
The fully fitted kitchen incorporates all the modern appliances including built-in oven,large hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher etc. The breakfast room has a table & 4 chairs leading to the utility room with washing machine.
Outside the property has two terraces, one of which is covered and a BBQ. A patio table and chairs are provided, allowing you to dine alfresco around the electric/solar heated private swimming pool with ajacent jacuzzi and is totally private. All linen is provided even beach towels.
Complimentary welcome pack on arrival (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, juice, water & bottle of wine). The property is luxuriously furnished throughout for our clients comfort whilst retaining its rustic charm & original Canarian features. The walled mature gardens ensure complete privacy.
Situated just 10 minutes away from all amenities, this property is ideal for a quiet, relaxing holiday.

Guime is a village situated in the hills overlooking Arrecife and the sea. Centrally situated, it is within easy reach of Arrecife, Puerto del Carmen and all the main tourist attractions as well as the airport, which is a 15-minute drive.

Owner's Tips...
A few restaurants we use Quintins, Calle Juan Carlos, Puerto Del Carmen. La Benita old town Puerto Del Carmen. There are a good choice of restaurants at the marinas Puerto Calero & Marina Rubicon, Playa Blanca with views to match. La Ermita Excellent tapas bar in the main street of Tias.
E-Maxx, Playa Honda. Italian restaurant with exquisite sea views practically on the beach. The Golden Corner cocktail bar on the strip (near casino) in Puerto del Carmen.

“As usual we enjoyed all that you finca has to offer,great facilities,privacy,sun & shade,wonderful pool & hot tub which warmed us up after the sun faded behind the clouds, & the chill wind blew!
All the family & friends were really impressed by the outlay & amenities that the finca had to offer.
Baby Lucas loved everything & especially the pool.
We look forward to our 4th visit in September & may the sun shine throughout our next stay.

“We booked this Villa for our honeymoon and we were NOT sorry. We love the island and have visited the Island for our holidays for many years, so we knew we were going to have a nice time on the island, we wanted the best Villa we could find, and we were not dissapointed.
We have stayed in "many" Villa's over the years and we can safely, 100% say, this Villa is on top of the list. There is nothing that you will be left needing or wanting, the owners are wonderful kind and very thoughtful people and have thought of everything, right down to the smallest personal detail, which just adds to the fantastic experience you will have if you book this Villa. truly lovely people.
We had our toddler with us and it is a great safe place to relax as a family, also the added bonus of having a lovely playground 2 minutes up the road by the local shop was useful too when you felt the need for a little stroll.
I can not say enough about this Villa and we will not be looking to book any other Villa for our future holidays with our children, or just ourselves to our favourite Island.
It will become a very special place to you, just like it has to us.
If we can manage it this year we will most certainly be booking this Villa again, and hopefully many more times in the future.
I am trying to balance the review by adding the so called bad points and be Constructive, but I cant think of one bad point or anything to add to be Constructive, sorry.

About us
In June 1977 John & I arrived in Lanzarote & completely fell in love with the island. Very different then - your luggage you collected from a tractor & trailer, no tarmac roads, the strip at Puerto del Carmen didnt exist & the airport building was a shed. During the early years we stayed in apartments in Carmen & then we decided we wanted something more personal so we stayed on Los Mojones in various villas. We were hooked. For years we searched for a property which would eventually be our retirement home. In July 2001 whilst on holiday again we heard of a 200 yr old restored farmhouse for sale in the village of Guime. As we drew up outside with the huge Bougainvillea tree over the front door I said this is the one without even looking inside. I had found my dream home after all the years of searching. In November we were the proud new owners & of course it was named Finca Bougainvillea, what else! Both of our children (now adults) have also grown up with Lanzarote as part of their lives too. They both love it.
What we love about our property
Our farmhouse (finca) is situated in the original part of Guime. A typical Canarian village, very safe, very quiet & relaxed just a 10 minute drive from the hustle & bustle of Puerto del Carmen & very central for sightseeing & walking. The house itself is furnished to a very high standard as it is our home for our retirement as well as holidays. The walled gardens are well established with exotic trees & cacti making it completely private. We have several terraces where you can relax in the sun or the shade or just wander around the garden & if thats too energetic take a dip in the heated pool or the jacuzzi. Our guests return year after year to enjoy the tranquillity & privacy.
The village has 1 bar(sociedad) in the square which serves basic tapas very tasty. The shop sells everything, fresh bread, deli, meat, fish etc & very reasonably priced.
Lanzarote is a truly unique island & has been allowed to keep most of its originality thanks to the artist Cesar Manrique whose inffluence is apparent throughout the island(no highrise buildings, works of art on the road islands. We have found our dream our finca helps people share a part of it.
