Accommodation description
A completely renovated and refurbished delightful lodge in the tranquil Macher countryside with exclusive use of a private pool . The property has stunning sea and mountain views, yet is only 4 minutes drive from beautiful Puerto Calero with it’s marina and fine selection of restaurants, shops and small supermarket. Yachts/boats available to hire with or without skipper. Able to walk directly from the lodge into the countryside around. The close-by village of Tias has a British shop with a large selection of foods for those from Britain who may be missing food from home. Tias also has an excellent 18 hole golf course with superb views from the café/restaurant.
Ideal for couples seeking a peaceful holiday, but within easy reach of all amenities, resorts, sandy beaches and the amazing Timanfaya volcanic park.
Spacious and tastefully decorated, the Casita has its own driveway with large pergola and ample parking space. Prices for hire car available on request. The accommodation which is floor tiled throughout comprises hallway from the front entrance with door into a large double bedroom with en suite wet room. The living room has two large sofas, satellite TV, DVD player with selection of DVDs /CD’s and a stocked bookcase. Large cupboard with extra hanging space and storage. There is also another separate shower room and loo. Door to terrace and entrance into Kitchen-dining room with hob, washing machine, large fridge-freezer plus second smaller fridge and microwave. Wrought iron and glass dining table with wrought iron and wicker chairs. Glass panelled dresser. French doors lead from the kitchen-dining room to the raised south facing tiled terrace which is half covered by a fixed wooden pergola with patio furniture and sun loungers. Outside airer for drying washing.
Beautiful totally private solar heated lagoon style pool 8m x 4.5m - tiled surround, with palm trees, bushes , flowers and an outdoor shower .
Bed linen and towels are provided. Towels and bed linen are changed once a week.The Casita has recently been equipped with WiFi.
This is a unique property in one of the loveliest areas of Lanzarote.

Mácher is a 15-minute drive from the airport. It offers a quiet and peaceful holiday in a private situation. Mácher offers a number of restaurants and a supermarket and it has wonderful sea views. Just off the main Arrecife-Yaiza road, the village is centrally situated.

“Casita Matrese is a perfect place to stay. A quiet neighbourhood, a nice pool-area and a clean house. If you want a relaxed vacation you have to stay in Casita Matrese. Not far from Puerto del Carmen and Puerto Calero. You need a car but from this place it is easy to discover the beautifull island.”

“Wish we were still there.Malcome is a perfect host any questions and he is there to help,and sort out for you.The casista has everything you need,you can laze by the pool all day if you want or you can go see the surrounding areas as the casista is in a very ideal location.inbetween Calero and Carmen so if you like quite night or the nightlife you cant go wrong stay here.Hopefully going back in June xxx Thank you Malcome for letting us stay in your home as we felt very at home there.”

“Our first visit to Lanzarote and difficult to think we could have made a better choice. We knew from the photos Matrese would suit our needs but the comfort and relaxing atmosphere exceeded our best hopes. Also Malcolm, the owner, who lives close by is a resident of many years and any questions are cheerfully answered, from directions to culture to shopping, in fact anything.
The pool area is as beautiful as it is spotless. If you need the perfect break with your partner put this at the top of your list ......We have done”
