Accommodation description
Best for winter sun, San Francisco 2 is a small friendly complex in a quiet area of Puerto del Carmen with two pools and a pool-bar running weekly BBQ´s and Quiz night on the sun terrace with sea views. There is a local supermarket 50 metres from the gate and four excellent restaurants along the 3 minute walk to the harbour.
A welcome pack of milk & bottled water (in the `fridge), & coffee, tea & sugar sachets is provided in each studio apartment which consist of a single room with twin beds plus "sofa cama". The kitchen area has two hotplates, a microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle,mini oven and refrigerator, cutlery and crockery. Built in wardrobes & chest of drawers provide ample storage space & a lockable safe with key is provided.
Each studio has either a patio or balcony with table, chairs and parasol,and separate bathroom with shower. Other equipment includes ironing facilities, hair dryer, electric fan and DVD-player. The complex pool-bar & sun terraces have sea views across to Fuerteventura.
Bedding & towels are provided. Bedding and towels are changed weekly by the owners who live close by. We meet our guests personally with their keys on their arrival and are always available to guests with any help or advice if needed.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote
About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.
For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

Owner's Tips...
Join in the celebrations during local fiestas & carnival held around the harbour where an international choice of restaurants, bars with live entertainment, shows and karaoke are available as well as quiet little tapas bars and sports bars with T.V.´s to keep up with your favourite programmes. For the the more energetic, water sports including parascending, jet-ski and water skiing, snorkel and scuba diving & banana boat from Playa Chica and glass bottom boat trips & game fishing from the Harbour are all within walking distance of your accommodation.
Shoppers - don't miss the Biosfera shopping centre on four levels. Coach trips to the Sunday market at Teguise, Timanfaya volcano national park, Cactus Gardens, Bird Park and volcanic caves. Car hire including free maps is also cheap for the more adventurous and a new golf course between the resort and Tías is only a 5 minute drive away.

About us
We are Tony and Diane Moody and our self catering holiday business offers cheap accommodation on a well situated complex and is a good base for visiting other attractions around the island of Lanzarote.
We own three studios at San Francisco 2 and manage bookings for other private owners who are not resident on the island.
Prefering to run the business on a cash on arrival basis rather than taking deposits by mail or internet banking, we accept clients flight details as confirmation of their booking.
We enjoy being the friendly face which clients who return regularly like to see a on their arrival and make them feel "at home".
What we love about our business
Our business at San Francisco 2 is just across the street from our own apartment in Calle Teide which means we are always there to meet our clients at reception, and available with help and/or information if they need us during their stay.
Living so near also makes the cleaning and maintenance easy for us to keep up and for clients to find us if needed, or just to come over for a drink on the balcony!
