Description About the property

Casa Tivia is a recently constructed luxury 3 bedroom villa, with accommodation split over 2 levels.

The ground floor comprises of a large lounge with twin leather sofas, UK satellite TV, DVD, CD/radio. A fully equiped kitchen with oven/hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, microwave. This leads to the external dining area with large marble table and seating. There is also a utility area/storage room with washing machine.

The lounge leads through patio doors onto the large external terrace and BBQ area. Here you can relax on sunloungers or just sit around the patio table and chairs and enjoy the sunshine and your own solar and electrically heated pool. The combination of the two heating systems offers the best solution to heating and ensures the pool will always be at the right temperature.

There are also two twin bedrooms with fully fitted wardrobes offering plenty of storage for all your holiday outfits, and the main bathroom/shower on the ground floor. Upstairs you will find the large master bedroom with lfully fitted wardrobes. You have a good size ensuite bathroom with both a full size bath/shower and seperate power shower cubicle. Large mirrors and marble units add to the luxury feel. Double patio doors from the master bedroom leads out onto the extensive upstairs sun terrace where again you can sit, relax and enjoy panoramic sea views towards Fuerteventura and the surrounding areas. The villa has marble flooring throughout.

This is a great family villa which we are sure you will enjoy. The villa is based on a residential development and is not suitable for those seeking a noisy nightlife. There is parking for two vehicles right outside the front of the villa.

Please note one of the special features of the villa is that the pool is treated with a natural salt system which reduces the harmful effects of chlorine on your skin/eyes. This is a natural water treatment process and is especially good for children or people with sensitive skin. You should be aware that very few other villas have this system installed.

Playa Blanca

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

Recommendations Owner's Tips...

Playa Blanca has a great selection of shops and restaurants and is probably the most family orientated of all lanzarote resorts.

The Playa Flamingo beach is only a short drive away and is great for families. The Playa Dorada beach is the largest beach in the resort and offers a range of watersport activities. The famous Papagayo beaches are about 15 mins drive away but well worth a visit and the new Marina Rubicon is becoming a major attraction with its wide selection of waterside restauarants/shops.

A selection of shops/restaurants are within a couple of hundred metres of the property where you can purchase all your holiday essentials, food and newspapers. The 3 local bars are a great place to unwind and meet other people. The spectacular coastline is just a 5 minute walk from the villa and is a must visit item during your stay.
