Welcome to Casa Sahana, a privately owned and managed luxury villa, located near to the centre of the attractive village of Tias.
For those of you who are familiar with Tias, Casa Sahana is on Calle san Pedro which is a great location, close to the shops, restaurants and tapas bars. The villa is about 3 minutes walk from the butcher (Charcon) and the new supermarket, whilst in the other direction the restaurant La Casona is about 4 minutes walk.
And some good news for golfers; the new course is less than 2 minutes drive away!
About 60% of our clients are regulars and most have stayed in other villas in Tias before making Casa Sahana their favourite choice, so we are confident that you will enjoy the villa and have a great holiday.
Starting with the outside:
Casa Sahana has a spacious, secluded south facing patio with sun beds, pool shower and a built-in Canarian barbecue. There is also a great dinning area, shaded by a pergola and equipped with tables and chairs.
In the centre of the patio is the large private swimming pool with Roman Steps in the shallow-end, making it safely accessible by people of all ages. The pool is larger than most measuring 26 by 13 feet, so there is plenty of room for everyone and for the energetic, plenty of space for a good work out!! The pool is heated by solar with an electrical back-up system, ensuring a very pleasant temperature throughout the whole year.
Going through the wooden gate in the patio will take you into you own private tropical garden containing, Palms, Yuccas, Aloe Vera and many other exotic plants.
Moving to the inside:
Casa Sahana has been built and finished to a high standard using attractive woods and marble. Accommodation consists of three large bedrooms, all with fitted wardrobes.
One bedroom and bathroom are located upstairs; this bedroom has a king-size double bed and a balcony providing good views of the sea and the neighbouring islands of Lobos and Fuerteventura. The other two bedrooms and a shared bathroom, are located on the ground floor, these bedrooms have twin single beds. One of the bedrooms has French-windows opening out onto the terrace by the pool and the other has views of the mountains behind the villa. Both bathrooms have baths with overhead showers.
There is a spacious kitchen, with a separate small utility room and a dining area. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven with ceramic hob, a large fridge / freezer, a microwave, a coffee maker and a toaster. In the utility room, there is a washing machine, iron with ironing board and a hair-dryer.
Exiting the dining area you enter a Canarian style courtyard garden with a 'rustic' pergola.
An attractively furnished lounge, opens out onto the terrace by the pool. In the lounge there is Satellite Television, DVD and CD / Stereo equipment. There is also a video player and a cupboard full of videos a number of which are children’s viewing.
A basic welcome pack containing tea, coffee, sugar, milk, etc., is provided and a more extensive welcome pack, containing items of your choice, can be provided by arrangement. A maid service will clean and change the bed linen and towels once a week. The pool will be cleaned twice a week and the gardens will be maintained and watered once a week. We have a local property manager who can be contacted if you have any questions about the villa.

A beautiful Canarian town with a range of shops, bars and restaurants. Tías is a 5km drive inland from Puerto del Carmen and within easy reach of the busy tourist districts. Although it is a predominantly Spanish town, the expat population has grown over recent years, so much that all street signs are now in Spanish and English!

Owner's Tips...
Casa Sáhana is situated in a quiet location, near the centre of the village of Tias (very different to overdeveloped Playa Blanca). The Tias area has the best micro-climate on the island and being centrally located, is an ideal starting point for exploration.
A four minute walk will take you into the centre where there are shops, many superb restaurants, banks and a taxi rank. The resort and beaches of Puerto del Carmen are only a few minutes drive and Tias itself is less than a ten-minute drive from the airport. The fantastic new Golf Course is a two minute drive from the villa.
Tias has some great restaurants and shops. We provide full information on these and other places of interest that Lanzarote has to offer. We can also arrange car hire at probably the best rates on the Island.

“We stayed in this gorgeous villa in May and had a fantastic time!!
We go to Lanzarote quite often to visit my parents and we have stayed in many villas in Macher and Tias. Casa Sahana is definitely the best villa we have stayed in so far. It was spotless and had everything you could want.
The pool was great, nice and warm and big enough to actually swim in. The other thing we liked is that the villa is on a large corner plot and it is not crowded in by other villas.
We don’t hire a car so it was really nice to be able to be close enough to walk to all the restaurants. We liked the tapas bars especially Cafe Central and the bakers – croissants to die for!”

“This villa is great value for money. The location is perfect, within walking distance of all the restaurants in the village and only a short taxi ride into the town.
If you are looking for a good size villa to rent in Tias, book Casa Sahana, you will not be disappointed, its very clean, spacious, like home from home and the pool is huuuuge, much bigger than the standard canarian pools. The villa has everything you need, all you need to bring are your swimmers and towels for the pool!!
The housemaid is also very friendly and gave us a lift back to the airport. We hired a car the second time we stayed and the car hire company that the owners recommended were so cheap and reliable, dropping off and picking up the car at the villa ON TIME. We drove to the papagayo beaches, definately worth a day trip! We have stayed here twice now and are thinking of returning next year. The owners are very accomodating. When we arrived home after our 1st stay here, I mentioned I forgot to bring my hairdryer and couldnt find one at the villa. Mike (the owner) said he would make sure one was there for future use and when we returned the following year a brand new one was at the villa!
I cannot fault this place.”

“The villa was lovely with everything needed for a relaxing holiday, and the warm pool was a delight to use. An excellent location in Tias for walking to the shops and restaurants. Buses to Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen run regularly and cost very little. All in all, a great holiday.”
