About the property

El Barranquillo complex is situated in a quiet street with ample parking. It is secure, very well maintained, with a beautiful swimming pool and sun terrace for the exclusive use of guests.

There is a large, well stocked supermarket close by. A five minute walk takes you to the main beach and the strip, with all the shops, restaurants and entertainment Puerto del Carmen is famous for.

The apartment has been freshly decorated and equipped to a high standard. It can be accessed from both the street and the pool deck, making it perfect for guests who have difficulty with stairs. It has its own safe at no extra charge, and a comfortable sofa-bed in the lounge for extra guests. The apartment is cleaned before and after each occupation, and fresh linen is supplied on a weekly basis.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.

For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

Owner's Tips...

A car is not necessary to get to the beach, shops, but would be useful for seeing other places of interest on the island. The El Rancho theme park is five minutes' drive from the apartment. Great for entertaining the kids!
