About the property
Las Palmeras III is situated in a quiet area of central Puerto Del Carmen - this small complex of only 8 apartments is very convenient for the main beach and avenida. The complex offers a relaxed atmosphere around the pool with sheltered and open sunbathing terraces.
This apartment has been newly refurbished to a high standard and offers a very comfortable lounge with TV and DVD player, satelite TV and CD/radio. The kitchen has a breakfast bar, electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron & board. There is a separate bedroom with twin beds and two large double wardrobes (with hangers), free safety deposit box, hairdryer, and full bathroom. I can supply comfortable fold up beds for the lounge. This apartment is light, airy and secluded.
We are completely enclosed by locked security gate. There is plentiful parking on the hard standing immediately outside the entrance and on the street. Sheets and towels are provided. If you require anything extra - just ask and I will endeavour to supply.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote
About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.
For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.
Owner's Tips...
The Old Town for excellent food and cheaper eating out, Fundacion de Cesar Manrique (this was his house in the 60's) for me was just the bees knees, as are his other creations if you are the arty type, eg Jameos del Agua, Mirador del Rio, Caves, and an active Volcano! There's a lot more to do on Lanzarote than you first give it credit for.
Excellent sunny beaches all over the island, and Playa Blanca 18 miles away has the most amazing safe, green and spectacular sea of Flamingo and Playa Dorada beach, totally enclosed by piers.
Watersports are available on most beaches. This can be as relaxed or as busy as you want your holiday to be.
The only golfing at present is near Costa Teguise, but construction has just started on the new course in Puerto del Carmen.
