Accommodation description
Villa Feliz is situated in a prime, private residential location (Montana Roja) within easy, level, 10 minute walking distance to the beautiful Playa Flamingo beach & close to Playa Blanca village, shops, bars & restauarants. The main village is just 15 mins walk or a couple of minutes by car with the new Marina Rubicon & unspoilt Papagayo beaches just beyond. A new water park has opened a short walk from the villa.
Villa Feliz is a private villa, in a quiet residential cul de sac and not on a complex. For more details click on the link at the foot of this page where you will find the owners own website.
Completed in June 2004, the villa is designed around a large open living area (free Wi-Fi internet access) with twin sofas & other quality furnishings, and full entertainment facilities all extending to a beautiful covered terrace, where most meals are taken, and where one can relax or entertain in this cool, calm space.
The master bedroom has its own patio doors to pool area, a king size bed with ceiling fan and en-suite bathroom, WC, bath & shower. There are 2 further twin bedded rooms and a second bathroom with twin basins, WC, bath & shower. All bedrooms have fitted cupboards, shuttered windows and fans. All bed linen, towels, duvets and sheets are provided. All you need are your shorts, T-shirts and beach towels!
The fitted kitchen/diner enjoys masses of natural light from windows and skylight, and has all the comforts you would expect at home. In limed solid oak with granite work surfaces with built in ceramic hob and oven, extractor, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, kettle & toaster. There is circular glass table for occasional meals and a large fridge-freezer for the usual holiday requirements!
Outside there is a good size 25' x 12' private swimming pool fully heated all year round. We do not charge extra for pool heating. Also you will find a large sun terrace with comfortable beds, an outdoor shower, shady pergola, hardwood dining furniture and a garden planted with indigenous Canarian plants and succulents, all surrounded by screens and walls to ensure your privacy. Sunbathe & swim "au naturelle" if you wish, you are not overlooked.
Guests will appreciate a welcome pack of basic groceries including milk, tea, bread, jam & water especially if arriving late (although we have a very well stocked convenience store open all hours close by).

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

“Stayed in the villa in August 2012 & had a fantastic time. Really peaceful, but close enough (about 10 mins) from beach, shops and restaurants. The villa offers great accomodation - shaded area, the pool was well used and enjoyed by all especially the children. There is a water park at the end of the road which is a real bonus. Highly recommend!”

“The villa is in quite location, but close to everything you need. It's a home from home with all you need provided for a comfortable stay. Idea for families with a lovely pool and terrace that allows you to make the most of the sunshine, and also for couples who require a quiet relaxing holiday. If you feel the need to leave the villa there are lots of nice bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. We will definitely go back again.”

About us
We live in a small country village just outside Bristol and are self employed as a bookeeper for small businesses & a property renovator. We also run 3 holiday lets as part of our business and try to enjoy some time each year in each to ensure they are kept in premium condition.
We have three children, two grown up & one still at school in Clifton. Our interests are sport, outdoor life, and running with our spaniel Scrumpy.
What we love about our property
All our lives we’ve been enjoying the warm all year round climate of the Canary Islands, but about fifteen years ago we discovered the beauty and peace of Lanzarote. We then returned time after time, staying in different parts of the island, and eventually decided to put roots down in Playa Blanca.
There we found a peaceful fishing village with beautiful unspoilt golden beaches surrounded by stunning landscapes. Over the ensuing five years we bought a piece of land near the sea and built our villa. A project that should have taken two years but was eventually four, we finally occupied in June 2004. A labour of love. The picture is use naming the villa Feliz which means happy home in Spanish.
Playa Blanca has since “grown up” a little but still retains its peace and charm and is quite the best location on the island to relax and take advantage of the year round sun and outdoor life. We especially love visiting in the winter when the days are still lovely and warm, you can swim in the ocean & get away from the dreary days in the U.K.
