About the property

Situated in the exclusive and highly desirable area of Faro Park, in the relatively quiet and relaxing fishing village of Playa Blanca, Villa Madrina is available for rent throughout the year.

This executive villa is spacious, light and airy with cool, beautiful marble floors throughout. Furnishings are to a high standard providing an excellent level of comfort.

Villa Madrina also benefits from an extremely large sun terrace with secluded heated private pool (8m x 4m) and attractive landscaped gardens planted with local palms, shrubs and bougainvilleas. An exclusively designed wall surrounds the villa and gardens to maximise your privacy for that all relaxing holiday.

Accommodation includes an en-suite master bedroom plus a twin room with an optional pull out bed. Both bedrooms have floor to ceiling teak wardrobes plus further drawer space providing ample storage.

There is a marvellous walk in shower in the main bathroom and a shower with bath in the en-suite. Both bathrooms have marble fittings and are fully tiled

Archways lead through to the beautifully fitted dark oak kitchen with a solid teak breakfast bar, an electric oven, ceramic hob, extractor fan, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, cutlery and crockery.

Located in the separate utility room are a washing machine, clothes airer, iron and ironing board for guest's use.

The large solid wood table and seating in the dining area is large enough for the whole family plus a few friends and is perfect for ‘al fresco’ dining.

The lounge is equipped with Sky TV providing a wide range of English channels, CD/DVD player, plus a selection of books, board games and DVDs.

Patio doors open out on to the sun terrace that enjoys the sun all day from dawn til dusk. Outside quality sun loungers and an Indonesian style table and chairs are available so that guests may relax in comfort.

In the evenings, external lighting around the villa and underwater lighting in the pool provides a wonderful backdrop whist sitting enjoying the local wine and anticipating the food slowly cooking on the barbeque.

Although quietly located, Villa Madrina is only two minutes walk from the local bakery, shop, bars and restaurants.

The nearest beach is Flamingo Beach, which is only few minutes drive away. It is gently sloping and therefore ideal for children. Other local beaches include Dorada beach with water sports, banana boats, and pedaloes or choose to travel by sea taxi from the harbour to one of the stunning Papagayo beaches.

Villa Madrina also has an adjoining spacious and luxurious two storey one bedroom apartment. It has its own lounge, kitchen, and bathroom with shower. The villa together with the apartment is ideal for larger family bookings of up to eight who appreciate spacious living accommodation. The apartment is not available for separate parties. About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

Owner's Tips...

There is a beautiful coastal walk five minutes away which will take you round to the harbour and on to the centre of Playa Blanca, with stunning views of Fuerteventura and the island of Lobos.

There are excellent reasonably priced restaurants in Playa Blanca, many specialising in locally caught fish and seafood.

Should you wish to play golf at Tias or Costa Teguise, there are two sets of golf clubs available at the villa. Please organise prior to departure.
