Accommodation description
Villa Stephanie is situated on Los Calamares - an extremely sought after area of Playa Blanca due to its closeness to the beach, shops and restaurants. All just a 5 minutes stroll away!
It has 4 spacious and beautifully designed bedrooms. The master bedroom is en-suite and has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and ceiling fan . The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms each have twin single beds, fitted wardrobes and ceiling fan. The 4th bedroom is smaller and therefore has full size wooden bunk beds which are popular with the youngsters but can also comfortably accommodate adults.
The villa has 2 washrooms: A large family bathroom which has both a bath and a walk in shower with wash hand basin and W.C. The spacious shower room is en-suite to the master bedroom and also has wash-hand basin and W.C. For your convenience 2 hairdryers are supplied.
The lounge area is modern, light and attractive. It comfortably seats 8 people and has a dining area to the side. Wifi and Satellite TV system with CD/DVD are installed.
The modern separate kitchen is fully fitted equipped with full oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron and board.
Patio doors lead out to the large 8 x 4 meter pool, which has a lockable fence around it for child safety, although, this can be removed for all adult parties. It is both essential and practical if you are on holiday with young children. The large family swimming pool is fully solar heated and if required can also be electrically heated during the cooler months (please ask for details). It has roman steps for easy entry.
No extra charge for use of travel cot, highchair and pool alarm.
The villa is fitted with an indoor safe, an intruder alarm and has outside security lighting.
All linens and towels are provided and welcome packs of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, water and biscuits are complimentary.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

Los Calamares is a prime and much sought after holiday area of Playa Blanca, close to both town and beach!
Playa Blanca is known for it's 3 beautiful beaches. The nearest beach is Playa Dorada - a white beach from which Playa Blanca gets its name and excellent for those that enjoy water sports. Playa Flamingo - perfect for young families. Also the world famous Papagayo Beaches are close by and are well worth a visit!
There are many local activities, which include; scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing, horse riding, go karting and paintballing, as well as some fantastic themed nights out! http://www.ranchotexaslanzarote.com/
There is a golf course in nearby Costa Teguise, http://www.lanzarote-golf.com and also in Tias which is closer still, for those keen golfers!
Car hire is reasonably inexpensive and is a great way to see more of the island - The Timanfaya Fire Mountains, Jameos Del Agua, Mirador Del Rio, Guinate Tropical Park and the fantastic Water Park at Costa Teguise to name a few.

“August 2011 Holiday.
Wow what a holiday ! Villa is beautiful, clean and in excellent location.
Our three kids loved the pool and it was a real pain persuading them to go to the resorts lovely beaches.
Everything is really close buy for shopping and entertainment. We used the bar in the complex next door (Las Brias) for cheap and easy drinks. The hotel just up the road for kids disco's and there is a mini golf course just 3 mins walk away !
Resort centre was only 10mins stroll for all the bars and restaraunts.
The only minor negative is that the living room didnt have air con, so you had to leave the windows open at all times otherwise it is too hot. However that is a typical English moan, we go away for better sunny weather and then complain it is too hot - you cant win.
Would not hesitate in recommending this villa and would definately stay again.”

“We stayed at Villa Stephanie for 7 nts in June, and can highly recommend choosing Paul and Susan's villa!!!! The whole party filled the villa with plenty of space for all 8 of us. The pool was a welcome retreat in the heat, and our evenings spent on the terrace playing cards were such fun. The kitchen was really well equipped, and the supermarket full of typical Spanish treats, so lunch by the pool was quite a decent affair!!! The bedrooms were clean, tidy, and nicely presented with ample space to store the holiday wardrobe. We chose the transfers Paul and Susan provide, and this proved invaluable. Not only was the journey from the airport swift it was made all the more enjoyable for the helpful knowledge given on the Journey. We were keen to spend our time wisely in the week we had, and the trips we took on their recommendation, were brilliant. The Villa, is your home from home. Set in a private and peaceful spot just 5 to 10 minutes walk away. The resort was bigger than I expected, bit it still had that relaxed, village with a past, balanced with the more modern hotels and facilities. Brilliant villa, amazing holiday, would advise for a secure, definitely going to be good, holiday experience to book Villa Stephanie in Los Calamares.”

“We enjoyed a special family holiday at the lovely Villa Stephanie early Oct 2010 to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday, the youngest member of the family was just 1 year old. We were met at the airport by Paul and transported to the villa. Paul showed us round and made us feel very welcome, although we didn't need Paul and Susan during our stay we were left in no doubt they were available if we did need them. The pool is excellent and very comfortable to swim in due to being heated. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace after a night out - so easy to reach all the bars and restaurants as the walk to the sea front is flat. Sometimes we ate in and just ambled to the little bar attached to the mini golf course (less than 5 mins away) for a pre BBQ drink or two. We would not hesitate to recommend Villa Stephanie or Susanna next door, it is perfect for all age groups and the transport to and from the airport offered by Susan and Paul made the whole holiday effortless especially on the last day as we were able to stay in the villa until the afternoon as the next guests were arriving later in the evening, they may not always be able to do this but if they can they will - it was very much appreciated! Thank you”

Hi, we are Susan and Paul James. We live in Lanzarote, managing several holiday homes. The all year round sunshine was a huge attraction for us as was the slower, relaxed pace of life.
