About the property
Villa Del Sol is on the private residential area of Montana Roja (Red Volcano) in Playa Blanca, which is overlooked by the stunning extinct Red Mountain Volcano and has magnificent sea views, with ample Private Car Parking space, at the villa.
The property has a private electrically heated pool with spa system built in to the Roman steps; to give you a relaxing massage, whilst having, your favourite drink. To ensure your privacy we have built a beautiful Piedra wall from volcanic laver all around the garden, so you are completely private for swimming or sunbathing.
To keep the traditional feel of a Spanish holiday we have designed a BBQ built in the old tradition on the terrace, with a preparation area to the side, including a sink.
On the lower terrace by the pool you also have a tanning hammock, that allows the user to sit or lay in the sun all day without creams, and yet, get a wonderful tan. This works by filtering out the UVB rays that cause burning, but allows the UVA thru to commence tanning. It’s perfect for all skin types.
The upper terrace has an attractive fence with gates which is excellent for parents with young children, to stop them wondering unsupervised to the swimming pool.
Inside the villa we have designed it to cater for as wide a consideration of all ages as possible, and is furnished with a mixture of traditional and modern, to give a really luxurious feel, both in English and Spanish furniture.
From the beautiful lounge area, you have patio doors which open up on the upper sun terrace over looking the pool, as does the en-suite bedroom.
The villa has a superbly designed and equipped modern kitchen with a private Solana for drying your clothes.
The en-suite master bedroom with its king sized bed has patio doors leading directly on to the sun terrace. The two remaining bedrooms have twin beds. All bedrooms have shutters with built in Mosquito nets fitted.
Clean linen and towels are provided each week. Beach towels not provided, we do ask you to bring your own.

Rates shown are for 2 persons: Please add £85.00 per person per week extra up to a maximum of 6 adults in Total.
The pool is solar heated all year, and during the summer months, this will be sufficient for swimming in the pool and is included in the prices shown. However during what can be the cooler months. November to end March, we would recommend the electric heating system is switched on, especially with the Spa, to guarantee 27/28C at all times. If this is requested then there is an additional charge of £100.00 per week. It is possible to use this system all year, if required.
A deposit of £200 per week (non-refundable) is payable on confirmation of booking. The balance is to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.
As an additional extra all the bedrooms have pay as you go air-conditioning, heating, dehumidifying, air filtering units for perfect sleeping conditions irrespective of the weather, ceiling fans are included in the basic villa price.
Children under 2 are our guests, so there is no charge.
As a condition of booking we will require a copy of your holiday insurance. This can be faxed or emailed
Bookings are normally from Thursday 3.00 PM to Thursday 10.00 am. Other transit days will be considered based on availability, please ask.
Early arrivals are not a problem, please tell us what your times are, and we will do our best to accommodate you whilst the villa is being prepared. Up till 10.00am thought is still the previous guest’s holiday.
Rates shown can be subject to change, existing bookings taken where prices increase will be honoured.
A welcome pack: - consisting, of tea, water, sugar, coffee, milk, biscuits, wine/cava is included in the above prices. We are happy to provide additional food for your holiday, please let us have your list, and you can pay us for this on your arrival.
High chairs, cots and child seats are available for hire at 20 Euros a week, per item.
Car hire is available please ask for details.
Please note - for 10 day holidays, extra towels will be provided at the beginning of your holiday, but no mid term clean or linen change will be provided, unless specifically requested and paid for separately, in which case please let us know how we can best assist you.
A Playstation 2 is also available for hire at 30 euros per week (subject to availability). However you must bring your own games and memory cards
About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
