Accommodation description
Situated just 2 minutes walk from the superb Marina Rubicon, Villa White Nancy is a new, detached villa all on one level with its own private, electrically heated pool, Internet access and satellite TV. Luggage storage service available for late departures.
The villa is comfortably furnished to a high standard throughout and comprises of a lounge with dining area, comfortable leather sofas, widescreen TV, DVD / CD player and PlayStation.
Kitchen, fully fitted with granite worktops includes all usual appliances as expected and also dishwasher, washing machine and stainless steel Le Creuset cookware.
Bedrooms, one double and one twin with all beds having Christy Bed Linens laundered using top quality UK branded products. There is also a second TV for games console or DVD and plenty of fans for those fabulous warm, balmy nights.
Bathrooms, one family and one en-suite, both with full size bath and shower overhead, wash basins set in marble with ample room for toiletries and beauty products and finished with luxurious co-ordinating Christy Towels.
Outside, along with the inviting heated pool are garden, sunbathing and patio areas with table & chairs, loungers and cushions. Screening around the sunbathing and pool areas provides privacy. Pool towels are provided so no need to pack them in that precious baggage allowance.
There is also a built-in barbecue and off road parking.
A 5th bed is available for an additional child. Highchair and cot with linens available if required. Internet access and luggage storage arranged on request.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

Owner's Tips...
There are supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants all within a five minute walk of Villa White Nancy so no need to go far if you don't feel like it.
The walk in to Playa Blanca town centre takes you along the esplanade passing Dorada beach along the way with beautiful views across to Fuerteventura. it is an lovely, enjoyable stroll of around 30 minutes. Try one of the sea front restaurants in the town for a leisurely lunch, then look around the shops. There are several perfume and cosmetics shops with some good bargains to be had. If you don't fancy the walk back, or are laden down with shopping, take a cab back from the town square for around 4€
When you do fancy going further afield car hire is recommended. Getting around Lanzarote is generally very stress free so long as you avoid Arrecife. There are lots of small sea side villages hidden away with little restaurants serving great food at great prices.
A drive through Timanfaya National Park back to Playa Blanca at sunset can be spectacular so planning your route back home that way is highly recommended.

“The Villa has everything you would need on holiday with regard to appliances.
Great location, very private, quite street with supermarket 2 mins away, places to eat the same.
A 15 min walk will bring you pass a couple of beaches and into town.
However for us the heated swimming pool is what makes it extra special.
A great holiday.”

“we had the most relaxing break which was what we had planned, the villa was in a quiet area with good quality internal and external furniture. It was very well equiped with everything you need for a self catering holiday (even the breakfast eggs did'nt stick in the pan in this villa)The villa is ideally situated with lots of quality eating places from canarian to chinese within a few minutes stroll. There is a beautiful beach approx 5 mins away(walking slowly) We can't wait to go back and will be booking to go back in the near future”

“We thoroughly enjoyed a fortnight in this splendid location. The heated pool was the highlight. Our weather was brilliant on the whole. -we kept reminding ourselves it was JANUARY ! - but it got cool in the evenings and we were glad of the heater provided in the living room.
Though we have holidayed in Playa Blanca several times in the past, the Marina was a novelty for us. It is very picturesque and peaceful.And we enjoyed a couple of visits to the market there on Wednesdays and Saturdays, where the products are a cut above the usual tat and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing/ But I did feel the two minutes walk claim was a little ambitious. You would have to be sprinting ! We thought it a pity, too, that that gaudy, garish shopping centre has been built between the marina and the villa ! It seemed rather to spoil the ambiance. Still, it WAS useful for internet cafe and supermarket .
The villa was very comfortable and the lay-out ideal for us. Short on a few basics though for any self-catering needs. There weren't even any kitchen knives until we asked for them - no kitchen scissors, oven glove, wooden spoons.. and the tea-towels that were left for us were disgraceful, grubby and worn !We bought fresh ones at the market. Also a slightly more generous initial supply of toilet paper would have been nice !
For eating out there was plenty of choice - We tried El Mano at the Marina on Jill's recommendation but though it was very smart neither the food nor the service lived up to the high prices. We had a lovely lunch, however, at Villa del Mar which seemed to be owned by the same company. On the whole we preferred to go in to Playa Blanca by car where our favourites are the Jasmine Chinese restaurant ( great value ), Los Hervidores and La Romantica in its new smart premises ( price-y but special !)
Overall it was a lovely holiday and we'd love to return some time.”
