About the property

Lago Verde suite 15 is a privatly owned apartment with spectacular and uninterupted views out over the sea to the neighbouring island of Fuertaventura. The apartment has been completly refurbished in 2007 to a very high standard. The exclusive complex of Lago Verde is reputed to be one of the best in Lanzarote and commands a privaleged position in the old town. The traditional old fishing port is a five minute walk away with the nearest golden sandy beach a 10 minute walk. Lago Verde itself has a heated swimming pool which was refurbished in 2003. Sunbathers can relax around the pool area and enjoy refreshments and light snacks from the pool bar. The reception has English speaking staff who will book car hire, excursions and rent safety deposit boxes if required.

The apartment is stylishly furnished. It has a large lounge and kitchen area with sliding patio doors facing south leading out onto a large L shaped private terrace. The kitchen area is well equipped and has a dishwasher. There is a granite breakfast bar and four chairs seperating these two areas.

There are two good sizes bedrooms, one double and one twin. Both bedrooms have large built in wardrobes. The master bedroom boasts patio doors leading out onto the private terrace. The bathroom has two wash hand basins and a traditional double Canarian shower.

There is a utility area with a washing machine and freezer.

To compliment the inside of the apartment the large terrace offers sunloungers with cushions and wooden garden furniture to enable our guests the opportunity to bask in the sunshine.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.

For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

Owner's Tips...

Bill and I love Lanzarote and choose to relax when we are out there. Reading/sunbathing on our private terrace, coastal walks, a chilled beer or glass of sangria and a meal in one of our favourite restaurants at night. There are many excellant restaurants to choose from but two of our favourites are Belleinies and Mario's Pizzeria a 2 minute walk away in the Montana Tropical Centre. Grahams tearoom,just two minutes down the hill is a must for a great breakfast and/or afternoon tea!

For those of you looking for a more active holiday you are spoiled for choice. You could play golf , hire a bike, go horse riding or participate in the wide range of water sports to name but a few.
