About the property

This fantastic villa is in a great location, situated between Playa Blanca Centre and Rubicon Marina. It is close to all the best hotels (e.g. Lanzarote Princess) where entertainment is free, the shops, restaurants and local markets. If you are walking, it’s only 15 minutes to Dorada beach, 20 minutes to the Marina or Playa Blanca Centre. This would be just 3 minutes by car.

Villa Rubicon Vista is set in beautiful private grounds with a 20ft x 10ft swimming pool (pool heat optional at £50 per week), complete with solar blanket. It boasts a furnished 40 square metre Sun Lounge and a sun drenched 150m2 tiled patio with shrubs, sunloungers, dining table with chairs, built in barbecue and outdoor seating with coffee table. There are views of a breathtaking mountain range and a truly wonderful holiday atmosphere.

The villa itself is very spacious, comfortable, clean, bright and charming. It sleeps up to 6 people and has two bedrooms. One has twin beds, large fitted wardrobes, bedside table with lamp, clock radio and dresser. The master bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, large dresser, huge wardrobes, radio alarm clock, a fitted safe and an en-suite which comprises of a full size bath/shower, w.c. and twin sinks, both of which are set in marble. These bedrooms are lovely, bright and have ceiling cooling fans. The master bedroom has French doors that open onto the wonderful sun lounge then patio, pool and mountain views. The main bathroom has a shower, w.c. and sink, again set in marble. Fresh clean bedding and towels are of course all provided.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you should need including crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric oven, 4 ring ceramic hob with extractor hood, kettle, toaster, coffee peculator and a breakfast seating area. The utility room houses a washing machine, iron/ board and cleaning utensils.

The lounge also has French doors that lead to the sun lounge and patio. This area is spacious. It has four comfortable settees, one being a sofa bed, nest of three marble table and two large coffee tables, an abundance of lights, TV with satellite, DVD player (200 English speaking films), CD player, games and a library of books and magazines. All you could possibly need! The dining room is ultra modern with a skylight window. It has a quality dining table and six comfortable chairs.

At the front of the villa is a carport, in addition there is ample parking space on the street. A key safe is also located here.

Here comes the icing on the cake. This villa has a massive terrace on the roof with a staircase leading from the garden. This has the most captivating views of Playa Blanca and Marina Rubicon. You would really love it here!

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

Owner's Tips...

Down at the new Marina - sample the lovely pastries at the Moulin Rouge coffee shop overlooking the outdoor swimming pool. Visit the colourful craft market Wednesdays and Saturdays or visit one of the many superb restaurants also at the Marina.

A day trip on the Catamaran food and drink included. Take a ferry trip over to Fuerteventura from the harbour.
