Accommodation description
Princesa Ico is a delightful little complex of just 16 one bedroom apartments, which are a firm favourite with returning customers.
All 16 apartments benefit from a south facing sunny patio or balcony and a view overlooking the pool. Accommodation comprises a twin or double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with big walk in shower, a living room with open plan modern kitchen equiped with oven, grill, hob, refrigerator, kettle and toaster. There is an iron and ironing board in each apartment and there is also a safe to rent. Towels and bed linen are supplied together with our excellent maid service.
The large balcony has a table and chairs for eating outside. This is definitely the place for sun worshippers.
The apartments are suitable for 2 adults. A child under 12 can be added.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote
About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.
For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

“Spotless accommodation in a nice area. All staff were friendly and helpful. In a nice location not far from shops, restaurants and beach. I would stay there again, very relaxing and had a lovely break. Wonderful.”

“I had a fabulous 2 week stay at Princess Ico in August/September this year. I have previously stayed at their sister complex, Club Oceano so already knew I loved the location - just the right distance from the front (a few minutes walk) with two well stocked shops very nearby. The apartment was small but had everything I needed and a lovely sea view. As I was on my own I loved having the choice of spending time at Oceano if I wanted company or Princess Ico if I wanted perfect peace and tranquility.
Food at Club Oceano was excellent and reasonably priced and the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever.
My apartment was cleaned every other day and the locked gate to the complex ensured I felt secure.
My only tiny criticism is that either a proper socket for a hairdrier in the bathroom or a mirror near a socket on another room would have been useful.
I will definitely return here.”
