Accommodation description

The accommodation is very spacious with most rooms leading on to the main courtyard and comprises:

Five bedrooms, the main bedroom has a canopied kingsize bed and en suite shower room with WC. Bedroom three and four are interconnecting and have a four poster bed and two singles respectively. A covered terrace leads to the second bathroom with full bath. Bedroom two has two single beds and bedroom five three single beds. Bedrooms 3, 4 and 5 are accessed from the courtyard while bedrooms 1 and 2 are in the main part of the house which is ideal for 2 to 4 people.

The spacious sitting room is comfortably furnished with sofas, easy chairs and occasional furniture including, satellite TV, video and radio cassette player. The large country kitchen/breakfast room is fully equipped including gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer etc.

Doors lead from the kitchen onto a covered terrace overlooking the pool and garden with BBQ and shaded dining area. The large solar heated swimming pool is surrounded by sun bathing terrace with sun beds and patio furniture. This area is totally secluded and is designed in courtyard style with flower beds filled with semi-tropical flowers and succulents; there is also an outside loo, a large barbecue and a games area with table football and mini pool table. To the front of the house is the internal courtyard which forms an ideal alternative to the poolside for al-fresco dining.

Los Patios and the owners second property, La Bodega (5985) are adjoining properties and can be used together for parties of up to 15 persons.

Changeover day is preferably Thursday but negotiable.

About Conil, Lanzarote

Nestling in the hills behind Tias, Conil is a perfect example of the traditional Canarian village. While quiet and rural, it is in easy reach of shops, restaurants and the beaches of Puerto del Carmen. The village has a supermarket, 2 local tapas bars and an international restaurant. The larger town of Tias is a few minutes drive and the main shopping centres of Carmen are just 15 minutes away. Perfect for a relaxing holiday in a tranquil setting, without being isolated.

Owner's Tips...

Conil has it's own supermarket just 5 mins. walk away and also 2 tapas bars. Within 5 mins. drive, Tias has several banks, 2 supermarkets, a petrol station and many bars and restaurants. Roughly at the same distance lies the wine growing area of La Geria where several bodegas offer the chance to sample the local wine in an area of outstanding natural beauty. A bit further afield on the coast lies Puerto Calero, a luxury international marina, which offers several restaurants and bars from which to admire the elegant yachts and of course at 10 mins. drive you are in the heart of Puerto del Carmen with it's variety of beaches ranging from rocky coves to vast expanses of white sand and vibrant night-life.

“Second time of staying here and we had a lovely time. For the price you pay it is good value for money (where else would you get a 5 bedroomed villa with private heated pool for £350?) However, it is tired round the edges and is in need of rennovation and updating, but of course that would increase the rental price, so you pay your money and you take your chance. The village is lovely and the tapas bar next door is great we have spent many a happy hour listening to the locals playing the banjo and singing wonderful songs, whilst we eat tapas and drink vino tinto. Definitely give it a go, you do need a car as you are a little isolated - however the local bus runs every half hour from almost outside the villa and it will cost you just over one euro to get into the town of Tias which has plenty of bars and restaurants.”

“We stayed here in October 2009 - its a smashing villa with just about everything you could need for a relaxed, self catering holiday - maybe the addition of a washing machine would make it absolutely perfect! The swimming pool is gorgeous and very private, plenty of sunbathing areas and a lovely shaded patio! Value for money is definitely the key word and we liked it so much we are booked again for March 2010!”
