About the property

A two bedroom bungalow for rent in the popular resort of Puerto del Carmen. Centrally located for both the old town and the new, the accommodation has recently been refurbished by the owners and consists of two bedrooms, both with fans, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. A travel cot, high chair and Avent bottle sterilizer are also provided free of charge. There is a brand new fully fitted kitchen which includes an electric oven with gas hob, a family size fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron & ironing board, microwave, kettle and a toaster. The bathroom which has been completely renewed is fully tiled and has a large walk in shower, mirror with shaving point, w/c and a towel storage unit. In the living room there is a TV and DVD player with hundreds of films and Disney cartoons. There are many books and games to choose from and there is also a safe on the premises.

Outside there is a south facing sun terrace with seating under a pergola if you intend to dine alfresco and additional space for sunbathing on the loungers. There is also a barbeque and coolbox provided. There are two pools on the complex, both heated, one being a paddling pool for infants. There are loungers and parasols provided at the pool. It is worth mentioning for guests with infants that the pools are not directly accessable from the property, there is a permanently locked gate that can only be opened with the key provided. Also for guests with mobility problems although our property has not been specially adapted it is worth noting that there are no step/stairs inside the building and we dont have a bath but a large walk in shower with anti-slip base tiles. A baby bath is provided.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.

For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

Owner's Tips...

Situated a ten minute stroll from the harbour which boasts some of the nicest and most popular restaurants on the island. A five minute walk in the opposite direction brings you to Playa Grande which offers the shops, restaurants, bars and clubs.
