About the property
Loma Verde apartments and town houses were designed by the world renowned, Lanzarote born architect/designer Cesar Manrique. Located above the Old Town this development with large communal swimming pools offers truly amazing panoramic sea views. The complex has recently been refurbished with work completing in June 2007.
Our apartment is on the ground floor directly in front of the pool from a south facing 17sq m terrace with table chairs, sun loungers and BBQ area.
The apartment consists of a new kitchen with stainless steel oven, halogen hob, granite work surfaces, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and chrome fixtures.
There is an open plan lounge dining area with a large sofa that converts into a double bed, TV with satellite that has a variety of English channels also a dvd player that plays cd's and mp3's on disc. There is a selections of films, books and games.
The bedroom has 2 single beds with plenty of wardrobe space, bedside cabinet, safe, hair dryer. The bathroom has a shower over the bath there is also an enclosed utility room with washing machine, iron, ironing board and extra storage space for cases etc.
The apartment sleeps 2 to 4 with twin beds and double pull out sofa, there is a travel cot for infants.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote
About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.
For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.
Owner's Tips...
Our apartment is situated in the old town of Puerto Del Carmen famous for the fantastic harbour area with a large variety of bars and restaurants offering international cuisine alongside the local dishes. The more lively new town is a short walk away with more bars, restaurants, nightclubs and also a casino. The biosphere shopping center is 5 mins walk away with lots of shops and childrens activities.
Puerto Calero is a short drive away by car or taxi. There is a golf course at Costa Teguise, Fire Mountain, Cactus Gardens and the water park are all just a short drive away with regular excursions by coach to all these attractions.
