About the property

Spacious, well equipped, 2 bedroom ground floor apartment within a complex of modern 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, a few minutes walk from the main beach and promenade of Puerto del Carmen. The apartment benefits from both front and rear access, and being on the ground floor is especially suitable for young families and/or older adults.

Onsite amenities include a supermarket, 2 swimming pools including a section for children, sunbathing terraces and sun beds.

The accommodation sleeps up to 5 comfortably, (could sleep 6 ) and comprises of a lounge opening onto a large patio and small garden with CD/radio, TV, DVD, VCR and futon that sleeps 2. Fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, 4 ring electric hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, all utensils, crockery and glasses.

2 double bedrooms with twin beds and plenty of wardrobe space. Rear bedroom opens onto patio terrace. Newly fitted bathroom with 'english' electric shower for continuous hot water when required. plus standard boiler for normal supply.

The large patio area has a table and chairs for eating outside, and relaxing at the end of a long hot day.

There is a weekly maid service and car parking space at the front entrance. A safe box is provided for valuables.

There is a choice of many fine restaurants, cafes, shops and bars within minutes walking.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.

For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

Puerto del Carmen is an ideal place to enjoy a wonderful climate all year round whether you choose to view the many sights or just enjoy the sun, sea, pool and immediate surroundings.

Car hire is cheap so you can explore the fascinating island and visit its many sights, including volcanic landscape, fire mountain, caves and several stunning beaches.

At one end of Puerto del Carmen is the quaint old fishing port and harbour upon which the resort has been carefully developed, here can be found many tapas bars and fish restaurants.

The end of May is an excellent time to visit and watch the annual Iron Man competition.

Puerto del Carmen has an excellent sweep of long golden sand beach shelving gently into the sea making it ideal for families. The promenade stretches 6 km leading into neighbouring Playa de los Pocillos, which also has a magnificent stretch of beach.
