Accommodation description

This delightful country house having been lovingly restored by the present owners, the best authentic local materials have been used to bring it back to its former glory. Situated in the sleepy village of Macher, only five minutes drive to Puerto del Carmen, the country town of Tias or to the finest marina of Lanzarote, Puerto Calero with its grand hotels and great variety of restaurants.

Set in its own ground of 3500m2 walled garden and terraces the villa offers privacy, stunning sea and mountain views. The accommodation consists of a very large living room with comfortable seating and satellite TV (limited Eng. programs) This room was created from the former interior patio. From here you reach all adjoining rooms, such as the very large modern kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, large chest freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Naturally you will find plenty of kitchen equipment, i.e. toaster, electric kettle etc. An informal breakfast room adjoins the kitchen and you can draw back the wooden window-doors, which open up to a large dining terrace and pool area. The grand dining room, which will complement your dinner party, is next to the kitchen and overlooks the pool and terrace.

There are two double and two twin bedrooms sharing two bathrooms, additionally there is a new wing with three twin bedrooms and bathroom, which is perfect for the younger generation as one has to walk through one of the bedrooms to reach the other. There are 2 sets of bunk beds for the children. The total accommodation has high ceilings and thick walls, which keep the property well temperate in summer or winter.

On arrival you will receive a little starter pack of a large bottle of water, tea, milk, sugar, butter bread, eggs and orange juice and something stronger to get you into the holiday mood.

Outside you will find a number of terraces for sun bathing, dining or play, the garden is stocked with subtropical flowers and fruit trees. There is sufficient shaded terrace space provided to escape the mid-day sun. The solar heated swimming pool is 14 m2 X 4.5m2, has roman steps and at the deep end a pool ladder. The depth starts from 1m sloping to two meters. You will find sufficient sun loungers and seating to enjoy the outdoor living.

There is a table tennis and pool table available and ample secure grounds for the children to play.

Children under 12 years of age pay £ 60.00
Babies under 2 years go free. A baby cot or high chair hire is £20.00 per week each.

Singles parties accepted providing a refundable damage deposit of £1000 is paid. Deposit of 30% is required to confirm your reservation, and the final amount is payable 6 weeks before arrival.

No refund of deposits will be made, if reservations are cancelled within 6 months of the booked arrival date.

About Macher, Lanzarote

Mácher is a 15-minute drive from the airport. It offers a quiet and peaceful holiday in a private situation. Mácher offers a number of restaurants and a supermarket and it has wonderful sea views. Just off the main Arrecife-Yaiza road, the village is centrally situated.

Owner's Tips...

Close to the villa is a small supermarket (next to the petrol station) and a bit further a very large Eurospar with a fresh fish and meet counter, two Spanish restaurants and a fine dining English restaurant " La Cabana".

You are only 15 minutes drive away from the airport. 5 minutes to Puerto del Carmen with its sandy beaches, Lanzarote's main resort, the district Town of Tias, and there is only a 5 minutes drive to the famous marina "Puerto Calero".

About us
I relocated to Lanzarote in 1999, after falling in love with the magical island that I immediately felt was "home"!

Since then many, many guests have experienced very memorable holidays in Casa Molina with many returning several times.

My guests especially remark on the privacy and tranquility of the villa's location, and yet how totally accessible all amenities are. Some repeat guests choose not to hire a car, and spend their time around the private pool gazing out to sea and then stroll into Tias with its many excellent restaurants in the evening.

Casa Molina guests come to Lanzarote for different reasons, with its temperate climate being one of these! However, other deciding factors include the island's very special and unique volcanic beauty, along with its many interests: Including Timanfaya National Park, with its active volcanoe, as well as the many diverse beaches which offer sunbathing, & safe swimming in its clean aquamarine and turquoise waters - to participating in safe water sports.

The reasons for visiting the island are endless, and many, many visitors choose Lanzarote on a regular basis. Why not come and visit us and find out for yourself?!

What we love about our business
I have to say that what I love most about the villa, is its unique, magical hilltop location with its spectacular, uninterrupted sea views & views of neighbouring Fuerteventura.

Another wonderful aspect of my holiday rental business, is that it's great to see my repeat guests when they return, and many now consider Casa Molina to be their second home.

The nearest neighbour to the villa is a short walk away, so the villa is uniquely private and peaceful.

At night time you can see two parrallel lines of lights of Puerto del Carmen and Fuerteventura, with the sea sandwiched between. When there is a full moon, it's even more magical!

The tranquility, and privacy is second to none, and I love to listen to the birds and gaze at the lush garden. However, if I fancy a stroll I just take the short walk into Tias for some freshly baked bread!
