About the property
If your requirements are a villa is a quiet residential area within 5-7 mins walking distance to the "heart" of the original village of Playa Blanca with a fantastic choice of ocean view restaurants, several supermarkets & Designer outlets, then look no further. Casa Luna offers the perfection location for families, middle aged and seniors alike.
The spacious accommodation, on one floor, comprises of a spacious lounge/dining room, which is furnished with comfortable modern furniture, satelite TV, DVD player and CD player for your enjoyment. French doors lead out onto the huge south facing sun terrace with covered pergola and built in BBQ for your alfresco dining requirements.
The extra large master bedroom has a king sized bed, large robes and an attractive ensuite shower room with tiled shower cubicle, vanity unit and wc. French doors also lead out from the master bedroom onto the sun terrace. There is an attractively tiled, family bathroom fitted with a full suite comprising of wash hand basin, bath with shower over and wc, this serves bedrooms 2 and 3. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are both twin bedrooms with large fitted robes.
There is an American style fitted kitchen with built in oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric kettle and toaster. All worktops are in beautiful granite. The washing machine and clothes airer are in the utility area. The layout of this accommodation creates an easy lifestyle.
The large sun terrace is equipped with a dining table and 6 chairs, 6 sun beds and sun umbrella. There is a covered pergola for those preferring to sit in the shade and a built in BBQ for your enjoyment. Also a view of the distant mountains is delightful as the sun goes down. From this private terrace, steps lead to the lower terrace and pool (electrically heated during winter months) which is surrounded by attractive, mature gardens.
For the benefit of those with young children, access to the pool area can be gated, baby gate supplied. The pool is 1.2 meters deep being particularly child friendly. The pool is solar heated with electrical heating in the winter, which we do not charge extra for.
For your peace of mind security grilles are on all windows and French doors and there is a safe provided free of charge.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
Owner's Tips...
Minigolf is 5 minutes walk away. Playa Blanca village, shops and restaurants within less than 10 minutes walk. Playa Blanca town beach is within 10 minutes walk, Playa Dorada and Playa Flamingo beaches are within approximately 20 minutes walk. Chemists, medical centres, banks, internet cafes and a selection of large supermarkets can all be found close by in the village.
There are watersports on Playa Dorada. A boat trip can be taken from the harbour to the Papagayo beaches (National Park). The ferry frequently runs to Fuerteventura, the trip only takes about 30 minutes.
Timanfaya volcanic national park is 20 minutes drive. The Rubicon Marina is a nice walk for those who enjoy walking, otherwise a 5 minute drive. There are lovely promenade walks in both directions.
