Accommodation description
Villa Romy is a luxury 2 bedroom villa with 2 bathrooms, one of which is en-suite.The second bathroom with freestanding shower enclosure.
The large modern lounge is beautifully furnished with large brown leather Natuzzi sofas, Flat screen TV, Sky satellite and DVD player which overlooks the pool area, well stocked gardens and beyond to the mountains.
Modern fitted kitchen with Dualit kettle, Dualit toaster, ironing board and iron, microwave and washing machine, full size fridge with large Ice compartment.
Cot, bottle steamers ( Avent microwave steamer plus traditional plug in), highchair and pushchair available for younger guests,small box of toys. Plus books for all ages.
Outside has a private heated pool and luxurious padded sunloungers. Excellent villa for family or couples, this villa is private as garden is well stocked on all sides.
Villa Romy has a large shaded area ,with wooden dining table and whicker lounge furniture

Please note that a third child is welcome at the villa if the child is young enough for a cot OR the parents accept that 2 children are able to top and tail in one of the single beds.
Please be aware that any broken glass in the pool or accidents in the pool involving children who have not been wearing a swim nappy is at a cost to the guest to rectify with the local agent.
Internet access is chargeable on a weekly basis.(30€ per week).
About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

Owner's Tips...
Villa Romy is a fifteen minute walk from the centre of Playa Blanca which has beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants and shops. The nearest beach being Playa Dorada in front of the Lanzarote Princess Hotel. Marina Rubicon is close by, with upmarket restaurants, shops and bars, and the odd yacht or two! And every Wednesday and Saturday the marina plays host to a vibrant and varied market , also close to the villa is the African market selling bags , sunglasses , leather goods and Canarian craft.
Every restaurant and bar in the marina offers beautiful views of the moorings and there are places to suit all tastes including fine dining, tapas, Italian, Mexican and grill restaurants.
Playa Blanca is situated for easy access to the National Park 'TIMANFAYA' the world famous village of El Golfo for its dramatic coastline and fish restaurants and easily accessible to hop on the ferry to Fuerteventura - those twinkling lights in the distance are our neighbouring Canary Island !
In the town of Playa Blanca you will find a variety of excellent eating places and bars, also the restaurants around the ferry port offer interesting viewing of the comings and goings with a coffee or a brandy to really watch the world going by. There is a small beach in town, situated around this are the best fish restaurants in Playa Blanca, which at weekends are very busy with locals wishing to eat well and be close to the sea, something you will appreciate yourselves when dining at Playa Blancas shore.
Close by are the famous beaches of Papagayo an area of outstanding beauty. These beaches
charge for entry and one of the coves is for the adventurous - nudist !
Alternatively, Villa Romy is the perfect place to spend a day by the pool with wonderful mountain views to the village of Femes. It is fully equipped and stylish in every way. The furnishings and fabrics used are of the highest standards. Please remember that ALL TOWELS are INCLUDED , this is an extra bonus to remember when packing your suitcases. Enjoy your stay !

“When we arrived at Villa Romy we were very pleased with the size & decor. It is obviously a well maintained villa, and alot of thought has gone into it. I loved the fact that there were beachtowels there waiting for us, and a safe in the bathroom to keep belongings in. The Lounge is very nice, and has a good sized tv (not that we spent much time watching it!) There is a swimming pool, which is lovely and warm...the only negative thing I can say about the villa is that the pool is a little small, and too shallow to properly swim in, but it is perfect for families with small children. The outside area is great for dining outdoors and there is a BBQ (which we didn't have time to try unfortunately). The kitchen is well stocked, and had a number of essentials when we arrived (milk, bread, water etc...a big help!). The beach is only a 15 minute walk away, and there's plenty of locas shops and restaurants to try. Overall we loved our stay at Villa Romy and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.”

The house itself was spotless , and the outdoor area with heated pool , really impressed
my teenage children .
We needed a break from the cold weather and it was just the ticket.
It was close to town and the 15min walk to the beach /old town was very convenient.
We are enquiring for a late August holiday also , Thanks !!”

About us
Hello I'm Julie Symington, the owner of Villa Romy. I have been a travel agent for 20 years and know Lanzarote inside out.
My family and I bought this property in 2007 and have furnished it in a clean and modern way, making full use of the outdoor space and the wonderful views. I have 4 children who have not tired of using the pool and genuinely enjoy being there at any time of the year.
We have been travelling to the island for over 10 years and I first discovered Playa Blanca as a Thomson Rep in 1993 - ironically the house is behind the Lanzarote Princess where I was the rep! The location is central, yet in a quieter part of town, only 15 minutes from the beach.
I trust that you will enjoy Villa Romy as much as us!

What we love about our property
I love my property - as the pool area is quiet and private, the trees and flowers make this a very pretty peaceful area to be in and the view of the mountain range at Femes is wonderful - a view you will never tire of!
My children love Villa Romy - as it is very close to town and the Dorada beach, they love the pool, they love their bedroom and they love very much the toys and films they have forgotten about and can play with them every time they come back! The heated pool is a winner!!
