About the property

Las Palmeras is a small complex of only 8 apartments built in a crescent shape. The relaxed atmosphere gives the complex a home from home feel and accordingly is very popular with repeat bookers year after year. While situated in a quiet residential street the complex is very central and convenient to the main Playa Grande beach and the Avenida de Las Playas with its numerous shops, bars and excellent restaurants. A well stocked supermarket is at the end of the street and the local bakery is situated just around the corner.

The complex has ample off street parking and is very safe and secure with its own lockable entrance. The private pool is secluded and surrounded with both sheltered and open sun bathing terraces.

This south facing ground floor apartment benefits from the sun on its terrace from mid morning until sunset, a real sun worshippers delight.

The apartment offers a large living area that links into the breakfast bar and kitchen. A new corner sofa which doubles up as a large double bed along with a separate twin bedroom and bathroom makes this apartment very suitable as a holiday location for 2 to 4 adults.

The lounge also includes 2 fans, satellite TV, video recorder, CD and DVD player. There is also a good selection of books and CD's for your pleasure.

The twin bedroom has ample storage space and a large wardrobe with safety deposit box. If required a cot and high chair are available. The bathroom is large and incorporates a bath with shower head.

The kitchen is fully stocked for those wishing to eat in and includes an oven with hob, microwave, fridge with freezer, kettle and toaster. The adjacent breakfast bar can comfortably seat four in addition to the outside terrace with its table and additional four chairs.

In summary the apartment is bright and airy, freshly decorated with new furniture and offers a high standard of accommodation which we as owners are proud of. We trust you will enjoy this very special place as much as we do!

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.

For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

A short walk from Las Palmeras brings you into the Old town with its unique atmosphere and fantastic selection of eateries especially fresh fish resturants.

The local tourist office is convienient to the complex as are taxi and bus stops which will whisk you to wherever you want to go on this amazing island.
