About the property

Villa Gadanis is a private, beautifully appointed detached villa, situated only a 10 -15 minute walk away from the centre of the charming town of Playa Blanca and the beach. It is light, airy and spacious. Villa Gadanis is a very comfortable place to spend your holiday, all holiday makers will be provided with a welcome pack.

The villa can accommodate up to a maximum of 6. It comprises of one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. This includes a shower cubicle and a large jacuzzi bath. There are also two twin bedded rooms with a further separate shower room with double shower cubicle. Towels are provided for use inside the Villa. A cot and highchair are available on request free of charge.

The kitchen is fully fitted with oven and hob, microwave oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher, all finished with granite worktops. The separate utility room contains a washing machine, iron and ironing board and also provides storage space for suitcases.

The lounge has comfortable leather sofas, DVD player, CD player and radio. There is also a small selection of DVD's and CD's for you to enjoy.

Patio doors from the lounge lead to the covered el fresco dining area, with large wooden dining table and chairs, so you can enjoy wonderful BBQs.

The villa has its own heated salt water pool, surrounded by a large sunbathing terrace with sun loungers. The walled garden features native plants and there is also a gated parking space should you chose to hire a car.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.

Owner's Tips...

It is only a 15 minute walk to the harbour from where ferries depart to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura and the boat taxi can take you to the lovely Marina Rubicon or to the world famous beaches of Papagayo.

The town of Playa Blanca, once a traditional fishing village, has retained much of its original charm. It has a wonderful promenade and many shops, bars and excellent restaurants.

Taxis to and from the town are easy to obtain and cost 3 or 4 Euros for the five minute journey.There are many local attractions and amenities. These include boat trips, watersports, site seeing visits, which take in lanzarote's stunning and dramatic landscape, camel rides and horseriding.

The lovely Marina Rubicon, a short distance from the centre of Playa Blanca, has a lively and colourful market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The many restaurants offer a wide variety of quality cuisine at good prices.
