About the property
Villa Timanfaya offers a very private and quiet location, next to the land proposed for one of the two new golf courses planned for Playa Blanca. To the rear of the property is the very impressive volcanic range of mountains which surround Playa Blanca and are host to the small village of Femes, a stunning place to watch the fabulous sunsets, or during the day for its total view of the town, Montana Roja (Red Volcano) and Fuerteventura.
The location of the property is wonderful for a peaceful holiday and is only a 15 minute walk to the shops and 5 minutes more to the magnificent beach of Playa Dorada see the photo gallery.
The swimming pool is electrically heated all year round and is included in the prices shown so nothing extra to pay. The large private sun terrace, parts of which receive the sun all day is completely private with a lockable gate at the side keeping the children in and unannounced pool cleaners etc from just walking in on your private time.
As you will see from the pictures there is a magnificent BBQ at the pool side for your use, including a sink and running water for preparing food.
The villa has 3 separate bed rooms one ensuite, which has a double bed, one with twin beds and a 3rd with a single bed. There is room in the villa to place an extra bed if there are 6 of you. The villa has 2 bathrooms. The very comfortable lounge with (air conditioning) has 2 twin sofas, with chairs for 6, like wise there are patio chairs and sun beds for 6 also.
There is satellite TV with a variety of channels to choose from, plus a DVD and CD player (discs are not provided)
The modern fully fitted kitchen has two exits one to the solana and the other to the breakfast room, which opens up directly onto the sun terrace.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
Owner's Tips...
For the very best food in the town we are happy to recommend the La Bocaina restaurant just past the only petrol station in town. You are best to pre book as all food is freshly prepared on request, so make it a lunch or evening to savour. You can pre book direct or ask us for our help. They cater for all special occasions, including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries etc....
Or really treat yourself and order a buffet to your liking to be delivered to your villa for party nights, or just to take out all the hassle of having to prepare food whilst on holiday. Minimum 8 people
