Villa Septimo Cielo (Spanish for Seventh Heaven) is a privately owned villa, approximately 5 years old and in the desirable and exclusive area of Los Mojones – Puerto del Carmen (Old Town). It is spacious and sited on a quiet plot with sea views and is surrounded by terraces and walls made with volcanic rock. This gives shade and privacy while at the same time adding to the external appearance helping ensure your time here is both relaxing and enjoyable.
There is a spacious drive with electronic gates to the side of the property easily capable of holding 2 cars, but the main entrance is via a wooden gate fitted into the middle of the volcanic rock walls. There is a path leading to the main door which opens into a large entrance hall which is decorated in rustic fashion and houses a real wood dresser.
To the right hand side of the hall there are four long wooden feature steps leading into a huge lounge with a superb feature wooden ceiling, and exposed volcanic rock in one corner giving the feeling of a traditional Spanish finca. There is rustic furniture, four comfortable leather couches, large screen satellite TV, DVD (a number of DVD's are provided) and a wall mounted music centre for your entertainment. Patio doors open onto the patio/terrace and pool area.
Off the lounge through a decorative arch is the dining room with an 8 seater table and chairs taking centre place. A secondary arch leads to an exceptionally large fully fitted modern kitchen with oven/hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker. This is finished with a black granite worktop giving acres of clean usable work space.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a large utility room which and hosts the washing machine, ironing and drying facilities and provides safe lockable storage should you have bikes or other sporting equipment.
Separate patio doors open across the front of both the dining room and lounge, and lead onto a large spacious terrace which overlooks the private pool. The pool is one of the largest found in private villas with 10 x 6 metre dimensions and a large waterfall feature which cascades from under the patio seating area. The pool is accessed by large Roman steps in one corner and benefits from solar heating for the summer with additional electric heating as back up for the winter months.
This patio terrace has a covered pergola offering additional shade, a cane suite to relax on, plus a table and chairs for 'al fresco' dining. To the side of the table is a large traditional Spanish barbeque along with an outdoor fridge to cool your drinks, and once again topped with black granite work surfaces. There is also an outdoor shower room with adjacent toilet (the fourth bathroom facilities) which is ideal for use when out at the pool or barbeque. There is a further large private fully tiled terrace area around the pool which acts as a sun trap and is fitted with loungers, additional table and chairs, parasol, a solar shower, and a small area of tropical plants creating a relaxing atmosphere.
To the front of the property there is a further raised terrace containing a table tennis table and a football table which will keep the young (or young at heart) entertained. It is also another shaded area when the sun is at its highest in the afternoon.
The four bedrooms are situated to the rear of the villa, and are approached from a corridor leading off the main entrance hall.
The master bedroom has a King sized bed, en-suite bathroom with full suite, twin vanity basins, and walk in shower, and a dressing room with ample storage in fitted wardrobes and includes a safe for securing possessions.
There is a second double bedroom, also with en-suite bathroom which includes a walk in shower, vanity unit and W/C. Again there are ample fitted wardrobes and storage space.
Off the corridor are 2 further bedrooms situated either side of a third bathroom. These are currently both furnished with twin beds, each room having ample fitted wardrobes and storage space. The bathroom again has a full suit including bath, vanity unit, w/c and large walk in shower.
If you plan to stay for longer than one week, the villa will be cleaned throughout, and all sheets and towels changed. Should you require additional cleaning this can be arranged prior to your arrival.
This is a quality villa situated in a nice quite location and well suited to both families and groups who want to return from a day or evening out to relative peace and quiet. That said shops and restaurants are only five minutes walk, while the harbour is less than 10 minutes as is the hustle and bustle of the strip with its sandy beaches, bars and clubs so the choice is yours – enjoy.

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.
For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

“My familly and I Stayed in Villa Septimo Cielo In July 2009 for two weeks. I would HIGHLY recommend it for familys.I have three kids ages 2,4 and 8 they really enjoyed the pool ( it would be harder to find a bigger pool ) it can be sealed off from the villa for peace of mind.The terrace area is very comfortable for a few beers or a glass of wine after the kids have gone to bed ( the outside toilet is very useful ) Shops and the beach are close by, but the villa is set in a peacefull location.The interior is very comfortable and spacious with everything you would want for an enjoyable holiday. This villa is a must stay for anyone wishing to experance a little bit of seventh heaven.”
