Accommodation description

A beautiful 2 bedroom apartment, with 2 bathrooms & 2 balconies, a new kitchen area and sky TV. The decor in the apartment is in typical Spanish villa style, as is the furniture. It is situated on the first floor (approx 10 steps) of a private complex where mainly British families own the properties, some as holiday homes others living there.

Bedroom 1 has ensuite bathroom with sink bath/shower & toilet, large balcony with loungers table chairs, part sea views. Bathroom 2 is located in hall with bath/shower, sink, toilet & bidet.

The kitchen includes cooker & hob, microwave, fridge freezer and butchers block. All saucepans, cutlery, & crockery included.

The apartment includes a lounge/dining room with two double divan sofas, coffee table, two side tables with lamps, dining table + six chairs, sky TV (English channels). Large balcony off lounge with sun loungers table & chairs, part sea views.

All bed linen, towels and kitchen utensils are supplied and a cleaner visits regularly plus a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and mineral water. The apartment is very safe and secure to suit families.

About Costa Teguise, Lanzarote

Costa Teguise is one of the main tourist resorts on the island, with big luxury hotels and apartments where architecture and landscape have been harmoniously integrated. As well as the main beach of Las Cucharas there are many other waterfront areas to choose from.

If sport is your thing then Costa Teguise is well worth a visit. With several diving centres, a golf course and bicycle hire shops all at arms length you can't go far wrong. For families, Ocean Water Park is based just 2km inland from Costa Teguise which boasts water slides, flumes and heated swimming pools. Open daily from 10am – 6pm.

There are many restaurants in Costa Teguise where the locals welcome those with children, don't be surprised if they are given sweets at the end of a meal!

Owner's Tips...

There are beautiful cactus gardens and three swimming pools, also a restaurant and gym on the complex, plus two pool bars offering drinks and lunch time snacks. There are several lovely beaches and shops within a few minutes of the complex.

Arrecife airport is approx 15 mins away and costs 15 euros in a cab. There are banks and car hire very nearby as well.

This apartment and location is superb, and very relaxing, also an excellent climate.

About us
We are Mark and Helen also so our two daughters Ellie who is ten and Georgia who is seven, we are quite an active family and love sport. Helen and I both belong to a local running club and regularly run local races and approx two to three full marathons a year, our children both are good swimmers and belong to a local swimming club, we love being outdoors and are lucky that we live in Cornwall with beautiful beaches and lots to do outside.

I moved to Cornwall from London in 1997 this is where Helen and I met as she had moved here some five years earlier from Leicester, its a lovely place and when the weather is really bad then we just wish away the hours until we are back in lovely Lanzarote with the 24/7 sunshine, having said we are sporty, and that is " true" we also like a drop of wine!

What we love about our property
The great thing about our property is the location. Playa Bastian is a really lovely complex very safe and very clean, there are lots of British people who own places there and quite a few live there all year, so its a real home from home. Very very friendly we have made loads of friends on the complex and when we go out there its a bit like coming home after a long trip.

We have often been out there and hardly left the complex all week, just being a bit lazy sitting around the pool or having a drink at Brendon and Sheelaghs pool bar, then stroll the 50 yards back to our apartment for a spot of lunch on the balcony looking out at the view of the Atlantic and thinking 'what a hard life this is!' Playa Bastian is thought to be one of the very best complex in Costa Teguise for me the best!
