About the property

Casa Amanda. Enjoy the tropical climate of Lanzarote from this new 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa, which is situated in the lovely residential area of Montaña Roja in Playa Blanca. It is a 15 minute stroll or 2 minute drive to the resort's best beach (Dorada beach), the village centre, shops and restaurants. The Marina Rubicon is also within a 5 minute drive.

The villa has been designed to give plenty of living space and is fully equipped with everything you will require during your stay. Outside in the very private garden there is a heated swimming pool surrounded by spacious sun terrace and mature gardens. There is a BBQ with a lovely alfresco dining area overlooking the pool and garden. In addition to the Sky digital channels, guests will also benefit from BBC1, BBC2 and ITV (not normally available on the Island).

The property consists of three double bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. There is also a separate family bathroom. There is also a private dressing room off of bedroom 2.

A fully fitted kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. Finished in stainless steel and granite worktops. Utility room where you will find the washing machine.

In the open plan living/dining and kitchen area there is a leather suite, pine dining furniture, TV with full range of British channels, BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky, a DVD player and hi-fi with CD-player.

Portable air condtioning units can be supplied at a charge of £45 per week (payable locally).

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.

The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
