About the property
Casa Papagayo is a modern, clean and very well equipped villa in a peaceful area of Playa Blanca.
The villa is all on one level with spacious terraces and the added bonus of another raised terrace with lovely views over to Fuerteventura!!
Inside the villa you will find all that you need to enjoy your holiday...the bedrooms both have ceiling fans, comfy beds and plenty of storage...the guest bedroom has twin beds and is located opposite to the main full bathroom, and the spacious master bedroom has a king size bed with an ensuite which leads through to the utility room housing the washing machine etc.
The open plan lounge area has a leather sofa and chairs with a TV with video, DVD and Sky with a selection of UK channels, and in the fully equipped kitchen you will find all the essentials like a dishwasher, microwave etc.
From the lounge through large patio doors you will find the lovely shaded and partly enclosed eating area complete with rattan table and chairs....the perfect place for enjoying a delicious BBQ!
There is plenty of room on the terrace outside and there are 4 sunbeds complete with comfy cushions and of course the lovely private pool with both solar and electric heating.
Casa Papagayo is a really lovely and well thought out villa and truly is ideal for both couples and young families...the colourful mature garden is private and enclosed and there is parking directly behind.

2009 Prices
The price shown in the chart above is for the whole villa per week for up to 4 persons...flat rate all year, we do not charge more for school holidays etc!!!
The pool is normally heated by solar power however if you would like to use the electric heater to maintain a temperature of approx 27-28·C, please add £40 to the weekly villa cost...this is mainly recommended during the slightly cooler months (Oct - April) when there are less hours of sun in the day to heat the panels, if not the solar will run as normal however the heat pump is available for use all year round if desired.
Children under the age of 2 when travelling stay free! To secure a booking a deposit of £150 (per week booked) is required, with the balance due 8 wks before departure.
Pool towels are included and a welcome pack of coffee, tea, milk etc will be waiting for you on arrival.

About Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and has many advantages for those who are looking for sun, sea and sand as well as good fish restaurants that generally host the catch of the day. From Playa Blanca's seafront you can see across to Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry. Ferries cross to the island several times a day from the main harbour.
The front is populated with a variety of beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (reckoned to be one of the best on the island) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen, restaurants on the front feature a wonderful sea view - perfect for couples and families.
Owner's Tips...
The villa is located at the end of a little one way road and so has no passing traffic at all and is located just 15 minutes walk from the gorgeous Papagayo beaches and approx 5 minute drive from the New Marina Rubicon.
Although car hire is highly recommended for this villa there is now a great new bus service running from this area (about 5 mins walk away) which runs every 30 minutes!!!
