Accommodation description
This luxury 3 bed townhouse in the popular resort of Puerto Calero, with a large terrace area, shared beautiful large pool. Situated on the complex Marina Azul , this quiet residental complex is ideal for families with children or couples wishing to relax.
The newly refurbished villa has a warm modern and homely atmosphere. All furnishings are brand new and of excellent standard including comfy brown leather settees, built-in mirrored wardrobes, fully fitted kitchen with everything you need for entertaining. The living area has full entertainment centre with DVD player, Sky satellite freeview channels and plasma TV. Free Wifi connection available ask Paula for code if needed, free of charge.
The large communal pool is situated to the rear of the villa. There is also a childrens play area and green astroterf for football. The villa has sea views from the upstairs master bedroom and a small veranda off the upstairs bedroom for relaxing. There is outside seating area with table and chairs, plenty of shade for the red hot sun. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool area for relaxing and enjoying the warm climate.
On entering the villa you will notice the excellent standard of this villa, the tasteful open plan living & dining area has been recently decorated in pastel blues. The living area contains leather sofas and full entertainment system inc Sky TV ( ITV, Channel 5, Sky news all free to air channels), DVD player, satellite TV, stereo system. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, extractor fan, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle & washing machine.
The master bedroom has a door opening directly to a small private terrace with table and chairs. This bedroom is very spacious with a fitted mirrors wardbrobes full length of the bedroom. This has a kingsize aluminium framed bed. The master bedroom is situated upstairs with a bathroom next door. There is another terrace area off the upstairs bathroom with seaviews or sunbathing.
The villa has 2 further bedrooms, both are situated downstairs are beautifully decorated, one has twin beds and the 3rd bedroom has double bed/settee with built-in wardrobes, the 3rd bedroom can double up as kiddles play room. There are 2 fully tiled bathrooms both with w.c., bath & showers, these are both spacious.
All baby stuff available free of charge, inc baby bath, cot, highchair, monitor, steraliser and stroller. Also free welcome pack on arrival for all guests, this include water, milk, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar, washing liquid, dishcloth, toilet paper, kitchen roll. Free WIFI connection.
This property is excellent value for money and has a 'home from home' feel.

About Puerto Calero, Lanzarote
The marina of Puerto Calero was opened in 1990 and was the brainchild of José Calero. It now has no lack of yachts and boats and it's become one of the nicest places on the island with many new boutiques and restaurants to enjoy. The marina is also the starting point for a range of activities including submarine safaris, shark fishing and cruises.
If you enjoy tapas, the restaurant Taberna del Puerto comes highly recommended. Their Canarian potatoes, garlic mushrooms and stuffed peppers are well complimented with the local mojo sauce.

Puerto Calero is 10 mins drive from the well known resort of Puerto del Carmen. The easy access to Puerto del Carmen makes this resort ideal for holiday makers. The prestigious resort (Puerto Calero) has been developing over the last few years and is fast becoming one of the most popular. Within walking distance to the exclusive Yatch/Boat Marina with fantastic bars, restaurants & shops. The best fresh fish restaurants Lanzarote has to offer. Fantastic new Indian restaurant with take aways. The Submarine & Catamarans trips from the Marina are excellent with brilliant fishing off the rocks. This ideal holiday destination is everything you could ask for with a nearby taxi rank, bus stop that takes you to Playa Blanca, Puerto del Carmen, or Arrecife (capital of Lanzarote).
Marina Azul complex has its own Supermarket & Bar, (great for your daily fresh bread) 2 mins from the villa. The Marina is 10-15 min walk away from the property.

“a lovely villa in a nice quiet location but you really need a car as its a bit far from anywhere other than the marina which is lovely but not much to do for children.the villa was lovely other than the little ants everywhere in all the cupboards and you just couldn't get rid of them.”
Owner's response: Thank you Graham for your comments, not sure why this year Lanzarote has had some many Ants there are none to be found only when guests arrive with shopping provisions once guests leave I cannot find them anywhere, I thought I had solved the problem but will take your comments on board and try something else to get rid of them. Many thanks
