Accommodation description
This beautiful exclusive apartment has been refurbished to a very high standard and is comfortable and stylish. It is set just back from the Las Cucharas bay, where there is a wonderful golden sand beach perfect for swimming and water sports. A car is not essential for guests as it has all amenities within walking distance. The apartment comprises of a spacious full equipped open plan kitchen/dining room with, oven, hob and all the usual small appliances. The very large glazed lounge area has panoramic views over Costa Teguise, the Cucharas Bay and on out to sea. The extremely spacious lounge has satellite TV, a DVD player, WIFI internet connection and a comfortable seating area. In the corner of this lounge room is a curtained double bedroom with fantastic sea views. There is a south facing partly covered terrace which boasts the same uninterrupted views. This terrace is a lovely area for entertaining and is fitted with a BBQ, dining set and a daybed for sun bathing.
The penthouse has two light and airy bedrooms, the first bedroom has a large kingsize double bed, the second a large kingsize double bed and a single bed, there is a curtained double bed in the lounge and also 2 double sofa beds and a modern shower room and a second toilet. There is plenty of parking nearby if required.
A basic welcome pack is included complete with a bottle of Lanzarote wine, water, crisps, milk, tea and coffee.

About Costa Teguise, Lanzarote
Costa Teguise is one of the main tourist resorts on the island, with big luxury hotels and apartments where architecture and landscape have been harmoniously integrated. As well as the main beach of Las Cucharas there are many other waterfront areas to choose from.
If sport is your thing then Costa Teguise is well worth a visit. With several diving centres, a golf course and bicycle hire shops all at arms length you can't go far wrong. For families, Ocean Water Park is based just 2km inland from Costa Teguise which boasts water slides, flumes and heated swimming pools. Open daily from 10am – 6pm.
There are many restaurants in Costa Teguise where the locals welcome those with children, don't be surprised if they are given sweets at the end of a meal!

Owner's Tips...
The penthouse apartment is situated at 'Las Cucharas' which is the main beach in Costa Teguise. At this beach you can hire equipment for windsurfing, diving, boogie boarding and kayaking etc. Or if you are looking for a relax why not hire the sun shades and beds. You have a huge selection of restaurants nearby ranging from Local Tapas Bars, Indian, Pizza, French cuisine Chinese restaurants etc etc..., there is something for every one in Costa Teguise. The islands only Water Park and Golf Course are both in Costa Teguise on the road to Tahiche. There is a craft market in Pueblo Marinero on a Friday evening. You also have the Sunday market in La Villa de Teguise which is a short taxi ride away. There are a number of interesting places to visit on the island from Luna volcanic Landscapes to Caves, Art Galleries to Children's theme parks as Costa Teguise is central on Lanzarote these are all within 30 minutes from the penthouse.

“My partner and I have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Ocean View Penthouse. What a wonderful place, I can't recommend it highly enough.The apartment was amazing, even better than pictures. Very spacious and decorated nicely throughout. Spent many a happy hour on the outside terrace, which had the sun all day. It was lovely to wake up to the fantactic sea views every morning. Great location close to the beach and nice restaurants.Sarah from Lanzarote Retreats was a great help. It was my first visit to Costa Teguise, will definitely return in the future and will certainly be booking the Ocean View penthouse for my stay.”

“February and four of us had a glorious 2 weeks at the Penthouse Apartment.
WEATHER: Could not have expected any better even if it had been May !!
APARTMENT: Location is perfect, immediately impressed by the sheer space and the comfort, outside area is out of this world and so are the views.
PEOPLE: The team at Lanzarote Retreats were so friendly and helpful and we found exactly the same everywhere we went on the island, and we went everywhere!
LANZAROTE: An island with a unique beauty which we have not found in any of the other Canary Islands. Excellent roads for driving, so clean and tidy it`s close to perfect, an island that all of the inhabitants should be so proud of.

About us
Lanzarote Retreats.com is a family run business which has been growing fast since summer 2007. Lanzarote Retreats is the creation of Tila and Michelle Braddock who wanted to offer a rural type accommodation mainly in and around Arrieta in the North of the Island where they live and love.
Arrieta is a traditional Lanzarote fishing village, a hidden jewel on the island, mainly un-discovered by tourists. It boasts wonderful sea front restaurants, quaint historic buildings and has a great beach for families, with a beach bar, play park and it is often great for body boarding and surfing.
They strive to offer you a personal service when booking and during your holiday in Lanzarote, as Tila and Michelle live at Finca de Arrieta they are always at hand for any information or help during your stay. Tila and Michelle are helped by Sarah who is based in their Costa Teguise office.
What we love about our business
Tila and Michelle have lived on Lanzarote for over 20 years and have bought up their 4 children here and been involved in Island life. The Lonely Planet guide book for the Canary Islands (4th Edition page 133 and 139) interviewed Tila and Michelle regarding Lanzarote and they feature along with Finca De Arrieta in the "Local Voices"section. They clearly love the island and therefore sharing it with those visiting the island through their holiday rental business.
