Accommodation description
This outstanding villa, ideal for a family of six, but can comfortably sleep seven persons, is situated in the exclusive of Los Mojones area of Puerto del Carmen and can comfortably accommodate a family of six. The spacious accommodation comprises of two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom, with a further master bedroom and en suite bathroom.
The large lounge fitted with satellite TV and comfortable furniture, specially imported from the Far East, also offers a fine dining area (you will find one further single bed, fold out type if needed). A fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances overlooks the south-facing terrace. There is a laundry room with washing machine, iron and iron board.
At the sun terrace you can enjoy the solar heated pool, enhanced by beautiful plants and ample garden furniture with comfortable sun lounges. A large garden wall to offer greater privacy surrounds the property and a barbeque area.
You will receive once weekly a pool service and maid service at Villa Birka.
A welcome sangria pack is supplied for every reservation,with some other extras.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote
About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.
For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

“Having stayed at a number of villas in the Los Mojones area of Puerto del Carmen, we knew we would like the peace & quiet of the villa's location.
It's just a 10-minute walk down the hill to the nearest supermarket, which stocks just about everything you will need for your holiday. Ideally you'll need a car though to make the most of the island's natural attractions, particularly on occasional days that you may not want to just lie in the sun!
The main dual carriageway (Circumvacion) is also very close, so you can very quickly drive to wherever you need to on the island. This also makes it very convenient for the trip from & to the airport, which is about a 10-minute drive.
The villa itself is well maintained with a well-planned modern layout with nice furnishings and a flat screen TV with Sky TV. The open-plan kitchen/breakfast room is a very good size for a 3-bed villa and has a good selection of kitchen appliances, crockery, utensils etc. The adjacent lounge-diner is also spacious and very well furnished.
The bedrooms & bathrooms are also a good size and are well fitted with comfortable beds (not always the case in some other villas!), and 2 well fitted bathrooms.
The pool area and well-planted gardens are also ideal for a villa of this size.
We have no hesitation in recommending Villa Birka to anyone, especially those wishing to get a bit of peace & quiet away from some of the busy areas of Puerto del Carmen!”

“This villa was outstanding! We loved the location. Perfect place to stay to just enjoy and relax. The villa had everything we needed and more. It was very clean and the swimmingpool service was excellent. I was always able to get hold of Mari if needed advice on how to get to Timanfaya del Fuego or other touristic places. She was always keen to help and provide any extra service, which we didn't need. We will definetely come back to Villa Birka, no doubt about that. We highly recommend the villa, it's a must to stay here for your holidays!!!”

“Just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay in this villa with my wife and 3 children.
Villa Birka is perfectly situated for those who are seeking a relaxing quiet holiday in the Lanzarote sunshine. You have the sun on the pool/patio area all day. A car might be recommended while staying in this villa, but if you are able and don't mind a 10-15 minute walk like us to the nearest shop/supermarket and restaurant then it is not necessary to hire a car, unless you are wanting to explore other parts of the island. We have stayed in two other villas in the Los Mojones area and this one is by far the best. The villa is very clean and has absolutely everything you need to make your holiday hassel free. Mrs Carmen and Ingvar who met us on our arrival are really lovely and couldn't do enough for us. They made sure that we had everything that we needed and any problems were sorted very quickley.
Would definitely recommend Villa Birka and we will certainly be staying here again next time.
We would like to thank Mrs Carmen, Ingvar and Caroline in the UK for all you have done for us.
This has been one of our best holidays!”
