Accommodation description
This first floor one bedroom apartment is situated in this desirable and popular complex El Barranquillo only a 5 minute walk from the nearest beach, shops and restaurants.
Beautiful one bedroom apartment with two single beds, fitted wardrobes with safe deposit box . Bed linen and towels are changed weekly. The newly refurbished bathrooom has a large walk-in shower and a washing machine.
The kitchen comprises electric cooker, hob, fridge, electric kettle and all cooking and eating untensils. There is no oven.
The lounge area which is nicely furnished, has a sofa bed which folds out double, arm chairs, table and chairs and coffee table. The lounge houses its own TV, DVD player. The lounge area leads onto a spacious sunny patio area overlooking the swimming pools and gardens. There are two sun loungers on the patio together with patio chairs, table and parasol. You will have access to the three communal swimming pools in the complex.
Within easy walking distance to the big beach, shops, bars, clubs, restaurants and casino, including the shopping centre, La Biosfera.
A welcome sangria pack is supplied for every reservation, with some other extras such as a bottle of water, milk, biscuits, etc.
Exchange currency available at official rates. We can help you to hire a car as part of the package. Ask for details.

About Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote
About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.
For nightlife in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.

“We stayed at this apartment in July 2011 for one week. One couple plus one friend. Prior to arriving we were a little nervous having only ever booked through a travel agent in the past. We needn't have been though. The owner, Caroline now only accepts payment via paypal which protects all involved. All taxi drivers know the complex so there's no problem getting from the airport. It is situated a 5 minute walk from the main strip in PDC. The apartment is clean spacious and well maintained. It is well equipped with much more 'gadgets' than listed on this website. As for barking dogs, we never heard any. Caroline is so helpfull and responded quickly to any queries that we had. She even booked a hire car for us at a very favourable rate. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend to anyone considering this property.”

“The apartment is clean, spacious and central for shops, bars and restaurants. However, it could be modified to disabled access requirements. Also it is frustrating to find no general reception area when seeking assistance. Having to phone the owner of the apartment back in the UK was quite frustrating!”
