“A really fantastic place to stay, close to all you need to make the stay pleasant for all age groups. We went on a famiy holiday, so the whole spectrum of ages and abilities.
Very spacious, great facilities, although it could do with a little TLC in places, Pillows and small beds are a little poor, plus the family shower just needs some attention, tin foil to block leaks and lots of mould, but this adds to the character. Just wait until you see the veiw.
I would definately recommend this place and i know my freinds are looking to book again, so will i if i have the chance. Oh finally, the service and response from Linda, was super speedy, efficient and very flexible and accomodating . Great Place..”

“Had a fantastic week at the beach house. Comfortable accommodation and very clean. Child friendly (a must with an 1 yr old !) - no internal stairs and balcony well fenced off from steps to beach. The sea views are out of this world and nothing beats literally having the beach on your doorstep . Our girls loved it, and there were plenty of buckets and spades provided for the daily rock pool hunt ! We had a car, but hardly used it all week - just a few steps up onto the strip - lovely little Italian cafe behind the house kept us well supplied with fresh baked pain au chocolat and ice cream - thank you Linda”

“What a find! A lovely property right on the beach, yet the shops and restaurants are only a few yards away. The master bedroom has a huge Spanish double bed and you can lie in bed and see and hear the sea through the patio doors. Lovely modern kitchen. We had an excellent stay in early December with mild but windy weather. Its worth hiring a car to see the sights on the island and the owner of the Beach House gave us some excellent tips on where to go and what to see. A week is not long enough. Will definitely book next year.”

“Had a truly amazing couple of weeks staying at the Beach House, its location is superb for great family beach holidays. We some times had the 'stones throw away' beach to ourselves and it has great waves for children to hone their 'surfing' skills plus very easy snorkelling permits you a splendid display of fish. There are great bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, the newly opened 'Bollywood' indian restaurant certainly somewhere to visit, and all child friendly. The house even fully loaded with adults & children copes admirably and yes there is one master bedroom that outshines but all rooms are comfortable and provide all that's needed. We're already looking at dates when we can head back!!”

“The Beach house is perfectly located. We have always gone for out of the way, quiet villas but this is ideally situated on the beach behind the main street of Puerto del Carmen meaning you don't need a car, you're 10 minutes from the airport and everything is on your doorstep - excellent places to eat and drink with the Spa Supermarket nearly opposite selling everything you will need. Hidden away, you can sleep with only the sound of the sea - fabulous. Yes you could pick fault - it's a little tires in places but I wouldn't hesitate to return to this magical place. We loved it!!”

“We stayed at the beach house for 5 nights from 20th March 2011.
The location is absolutely stunning. A beautiful position right on the beach' at the quieter end of Puerto del Carmen. The terrace is great for chilling out , either reading, watching the wildlife, enjoying breakfast or a sundowner, etc, lovely. The BBQ is also fantastic. However, the comfort of the seating could be improved by providing cushions for the chairs and sunbeds. Beach towels would have also been appreciated.
It felt at £500 for 6 nights accomodation for 2 people, it was poor to only supply 1 bath and hand towel per person.
The kitchen is lovely and spacious and relatively, well equipped.
The master bedroom is blissful with a very comfortable HUGE super kingsize bed and the en-suite bathroom is lovely. You can listen to the sound of the sea as you drift off to sleep safe, in the knowledge that the windows have fly screens. Fortunately, there were just 2 of us, so no difficult decisions deciding who gets the master bedroom .The other bedrooms were nowhere near as pleasant and the main bathroom could do with a little tlc and updating.
A previous review mentioned the standard and cleanliness of the wardrobes. I agree they could be cleaner and would also benefit from a littlle maintenance. The drawer fronts are loose and the door into the ensuite sticks.
A welcome folder with information on the house would be useful. (Kevin and his wife were very helpful).
The Beach House, the name is self explanatory. If you want 5 star luxury accomodation and comfort, it probably isn't for you. However, if you want a stunning beachside location in a quirky original house you will love it.”

“My family and I have just returned from a week at the Beach House. Had great weather and we were all really taken with the place. Fantastic location and amazing views. Makes you feel so spoilt having a cuppa on the terrace and it feels like you have your own beach too!
Near to plenty of shops, bars and good restaurants without experiencing any noise.
Beach House is very clean and spacious both inside and out. The studio was also spacious and listening to the ocean at night really helps you to relax and helps you sleep!
We are looking at returning again next year and have recommended the Beach House to others.
The owner (Linda) was very helpful and always available via email to answer any questions regarding our stay.”

“This villa is everything and more you'd expect it to be. We were there for a week in April and were due to fly home on volcano day, the owners (thanks again Mr and Mrs Crossley) had no hesitation in letting us stay there another week for a minimal charge. The whole place in fabulous, out on the front patio we saw the whales and dolphins while having a cuppa, absolute bliss. Just out the back is the main street in puerto del carmen. We were'nt bothered by noise yet were so close to everything, the little beach is great and we spent hours swimming and snorkelling. Inside the villa is amazing , furnished to a very high standard but comfortable at the same time. The en suite of the main bedroom is in the wardrobe my family were amazed. We will definately be visiting again.”

“We are booking our next holiday here! We booked the house for the size as we are two families with 6 kids between us 2 under 5 years old. The beach is on the doorstep the kids LOVED IT! They were off at the crack of dawn fishing and catching things from the rock pools (Could have done with a nature guide as we had no clue about what they were bringing to show us), swimming snorkelling (loads of pretty fish) and digging. We could keep an eye on them from the balcony and call them up for lunch and applications of sun cream, The weather was not great for our entire stay but, The kids did not care and we had amazing views day and night, beats being stuck in a hotel room or looking at a pool. The bars and restaurants and super markets are very close. Very Relaxing holiday and we miss sleeping with the sound of the sea.”

“Stayed for 10 days in late Feb 2010 (week before the weather was poor but we had great sunshine). Very spacious - albeit that there were only 4 in our party. The kitchen is very well laid out and we had several nights in with BBQ's / salads - plus plenty of wine. Sitting there chatting, drinking and listening to the waves break - ah, bliss - already booked to go back in Nov. Bars and restaurants all very local but villa itself very quiet.”

“We are a group of 10 doctors from london who stayed at the beach house for the first time in December 09 and are just in the process of booking our next holiday there again. The view over the sea as you walk through the the front room is spectacular and in our opinion by far the best on the island. The house is perfect for large groups, and we all had to fight over the main bedroom! We enjoyed cooking in the very well sized kitchen and loved the use of the back patio area to enjoy our evening meal but not before we made use of the patio at the front to enjoy our sundown cocktails! The dolphins visited us on the second to last evening which was a total thrill, and the weather was divine. Cant wait to go back.”

“bedrooms need a good clean and wardrobes in very bad repair!!!!!”
Owner's response: I'm so sorry, what can I say except to pass on your comments to our cleaners, the bad weather probably didnt help either. It's a unique house, yours is the first complaint in over 3 years. I am naturally disappointed you had nothing possitive to say about your stay.

“Excellent place to stay. Everything on your door step, excellent restaurants & bars, yet the balcony which looks onto the sea is secluded. All you can see is sand, sea and boats and of course sun. Recomend the use of the bbq and a fine glass of wine to watch the sunset. The sunrise is not bad either.”

“Returned late in June from a holiday neither me, nor my friends will ever forget.
I chose the villa because of the lovely pictures displayed, and of the location. When we arrived the pictures came to life. The location is perfect! From the villa, the beach is literally down a staircase, a mere 10 second walk. From the front of the house, the main promenade is a 30 second walk. With all this in mind, the villa is still quiet and tucked away. Perfect location!
All rooms are clean and well furnished and the layout of the villa is great! We found the bbq and the 'al fresco' dining area particularly useful. Beautiful views over the sea from the balcony. Main bedroom has a great bed and on-suite!
This Villa definitely made our stay here something special, a perfect holiday with the perfect villa.”

Me and the whole Family had a smashing time - with 12 beds on the beach you cant really find this location anywhere in the world for that price...
Great bar near by - and lovely sea air... nothing to see but the sea...
I will be back ! !”
Owner's response: Anyone reading this review must take note the house does not sleep 12, but glad a good time was had by all!

“What a place - !!!! Thanks Linda for an amazing time !
Swimming in the crystal blue sea every day made my holiday... silence and tranquility..
Teenage kids loved it also, with the large house, kitchen and BBQ. And the close proximity to the clubs bars and restaurants meant that the whole week we were there we were only ever 10m from the sea, but the silence and peace was the best thing for me. Wine- Book- Jazz - Sunsets, relaxation.... ahhhhhhhhhh
The views were spectacular, and the rocky cove and the large sandy beach were super for the kids to jump around on. 100% happy.
ps I loved the back court yard and the artwork - many fun nights on the cune wine was had there.”

“This is one of the most special locations i have ever stayed in in my entire life;.... such a find ! !
I was initialy dubious about staying on the sea front due to sound and people - but this house is silent bliss...
With the gentle breeze coming in off the sea and the rustlin of the palm leafs - breaking waves on the rocks only 5 m away - and the great vantage point to watch the kids from made this such a relaxing holiday.
You really dont find places like this anymore... The fact that the kids were swiming in the sea rather than a swiming pool was brilliant. the salt made my sons skin perfect after having bad exema it was all gone. and none of them had ear infections which usualy happend when we saty in hotels with pools. Snorkeling with the fish, and boats sailing past, the the amazing views to fuertaventura made our time here simply unforgetable.... Cant rate this place enough 5*
dont tell everyone though !!!
I have booked my summer family holiday here since then - wish i found it sooner...”
