“Just wanted to thank you for a very comfortable stay. Unfortunately we had already booked elsewhere for our next holiday or we would have re-booked with you, thought it's tempting to do both! Having stayed in several places in Playa Blanca, this is now our favourite and we definitely recommend it and look forward to coming back.”

“We stayed here in June....can't fault anything with our stay at Villa Mateo...Very clean & tidy. Great sized pool which we spent every day in due to the beautiful weather....has everything you need (a home from home) Only a short walk to the beach and the many shops and restaraunts...highly reccomend 'grille de timanfaya' restaraunt on the sea front..very friendly staff and superb quality food for your money.
We are definately hoping to return here again....and again.....and again :-)”

“We eventually went to Villa Mateo on 3rd September for 2 weeks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. An ideal villa for 2. Owners were very friendly and helpful. It was so good to have the heated pool available and the bbq. The resort was pleasant with many good restaurants. Highly recommend Casa Pedro, Almacen de Sal and Charental.”

“We stayed at Villa Mateo in April, the weather was lovely and hot, only one overcast half day, which was still very warm. The villa was lovely, very well equipped and comfortable with everything needed for an easy holiday. The welcome pack was a nice touch, it was convenient to have a washing machine, and wonderful to have a lovely warm pool literally just outside the door!! Comfy outdoor seating area and a lovely choice of books to read, we left some of ours to add to the collection!! Great location, quiet and peaceful, yet such a short distance from the town with a good choice of eateries (Pedro's especially good), and a nice clean beach. A great place to stay, thoroughly recommended, we would definitely like to return next year. Andrew a very helpful owner, so glad we chose Villa Mateo. We were there when the volcanic ash cloud was hovering, hoped to get an extra week, but it cleared in time for us to travel home, what a shame!!!”

“Just got back from an amazing week staying in this villa, It is beautiful, modern and comfortable. It has everything you could want for a holiday, the pool is lovely with a surprisingly deep end - good for swimming, and a shallow end. It is in a great location with a spar, a lot of local market shops and a beach within 5-10 minutes.

Definitely recommend and we, a young couple, would go back tomorrow if we could!”

“The apartment was very very nice, clean, lovely neighbourhood. short distance from the beach. there was everything in the house you would need, i liked the big b&q the most. was there with my boyfriend and we really enjoyed it!! If we ever come back to lanzarote , we rent it again, high recommended!!!!”

“We stayed in the villa in October. It is in a peacful location yet only a ten minute stroll to the centre.
Andrew was mst helpful and was only a phone call away had we needed him. The villa is well equipped, everything you need for a holiday. Having its own private pool was a bonus. Would definately go again.”

“We spent 10 nights at the end of January 2010 at Villa Mateo and found it comfortable, clean and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Playa Blance independently. The villa was a relaxing place to spend time; comfy sunbeds, nice pool, good selection of books and dvd's to watch in the evening after a nice meal out, and there is lots of local info, leaflets, guidebooks etc for visitors provided by the owner. We would definitely visit Playa Blanca again and would be happy to stay in this pleasant villa again. Thank you Andrew, helpful owner!”

“Just returned from a week at Villa Mateo,would certainly recommend it and would certainly book again.Heated pool was wonderful and used every day. The villa is ideal for a couple and in a quiet area.Weather in January was good, mid 20`s with fivve sunny days and two overcast ,but always warm.
We arrived on Sunday so the complimentary welcome pack was a really nice touch, meaning we could have a hot or cold drink on arrival.”

“Just returned from a weeks break at Villa Mateo - just what the Doctor ordered! The Villa is lovely and was so peaceful, we thoroughly enjoyed a pool on our doorstep. Towels were provided and the pool was cleaned during our stay, we even received a welcome pack including wine! The weather was lovely too.

We would thoroughly recommend Villa Mateo - we are looking forward to returning.
