“we booked an upstairs apartment on friday 1st april 2011, for 7 days i found it difficult to operate the key-safe on the wall of the apartment, I rang the number provided by the letting agent, for advice but the mobile number was switched off, this was 7.45pm, a kindly neighbour helped us into our apartment eventually, there was no a/c in the apartment, nobody from the letting agent came to the apartment during our stay, apart from that the apartment was clean and tidy, with a beautifull sea view and poolside view of the complex, we enjoyed our stay in the complex, it was real quiet thats the way we like it Gabriel”

“Stayed at this apartment with partner first week of Dec 2010, it was spotlessly clean and exactly as described. ideal for what we wanted. The balcony is a true suntrap with views over matagorda and Puerto del Carmen in the distance. We have stayed in Matagorda a few times in the past and we were aware of the location, which is in quite an elevated position, not ideal if you have mobility problems, but really only a 5-10 minute slight incline walk with a quite steep final walk from all the restaurants etc. in the commercial centre. Had a slight problem with the shower which was rectified within 2hrs of contacting Bella Lanzarote, Brian and Sue could not have been more helpful. i would certainly consider this apartment for any return visit.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matagorda Bay. The apartment complex has a very pleasant atmosphere and our apartment was very comfortable. The swimming pool area was particularly nice with plenty of room for loungers. Of significance is the quality of the pool area generally as it provides a very pleasant view from the terraces. No expense has been spared on the areas surrounding the pool which have been beautifully planted with Cactii of all types. We shall definitely be returning!”

“The resort of Matagorda is perfect for people looking for a nice relaxing time. Probably suited to people over 40 as the night life is along the coast at Puerto Del Carmen. The apartment complex was excellent and I would have given it 5 stars had the apartment been better equipped. It was spotlessly clean and a real sun trap all day. No noisy traffic anywhere and although you are under the flight path to the airport, you hardly notice the planes. I would highly recommend these apartments and this resort.”

“My husband and I stayed at Matagorda Bay for 1 week over New Year. The complex and apartment are immaculate, nicely furnished and well equiped. This was a very relaxing holiday in a quiet complex which we feel is well suited to couples. 5 minutes walk away from the Matagorda Commercial Centre which has a few pubs,restaurants, shops, hairdressers/beautician or alternatively the town of Puerto del carmen is a good 25 minute walk, 5-10 minutes in a taxi. We would recomend these apartments and would stay here again.”
